It is a pleasure for us, people who choose to be accommodated in our home, to receive the maximum happiness from their stay and satisfaction with the services provided. Nevertheless, for cases where there are complaints, we are open to listening to them and actually willing to find solutions. In your case, things are quite clear:
You found our house had a lot of noise. With your own words: '' Everybody uses the road in front of the house to pass by ''. The location both through the map and through the description and the enlightening photographs is obvious. There are other accommodations out of the center that by sacrificing the central location offer total silence. Your choice was not in the second category. You also commented that the noise is coming into the house because '' The windows are too thin ''. The frames are also clear from the photos and are traditionally solid wood while the windows, although not double, are capable of absorbing most of the noise coming from the street. The need for even more sound insulation is covered by shutting down the shutters, which I doubt you did to get that feeling. In any case the level of noise tolerated by everyone is subjective. Let me note that none of those who stayed at home complained about the noise, while many were asleep with open windows.
I have to say a few words for you as a guest. The way you handled the matter is leniently improper as you spoke in your native language - and not known to us - and when all the money was not returned, you hit the door of the refrigerator vigorously speaking with intense irritation. Finally, you did not respect the privacy of the space as you opened a locked wardrobe and used personal items of the hostess (bed sheets-pillow).
All in all, although we sincerely regret the turn of your stay and wish there was a better solution, this is not always possible. In this case, that your stay was in progress and the problem could not be settled otherwise, all we could offer was your partial compensation even if it was not foreseen (zero compensation from the cancellation policy of the platform) , which we overtook and compensated you for a significant part of your reservation.
