I am very glad to hear that you found the apartment to be clean and comfortable.
I am so sorry, however, you felt the apartment was damp. You stayed with us during the brief period when Washington was experiencing an unusual amount of heavy rainfall due to Hurricane Florence. Perhaps that's what gave you the impression the place was damp. I can assure you the apartment offers a dry and safe environment to all our guests including those with Asthma and allergies.
As to the essentials, I am really surprised to hear that "no essentials" were provided. The cleaning crew are always instructed to make sure that the apartment is fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and much more. Some of these amenities may be stored inside the cabinets, but they are always there for our guests to use and enjoy. I wish you had called or texted me when you noticed that something was missing because we would have made sure it was provided to you instantaneously.
I am so sorry you didn't fully enjoy your experience. Please come back and we will make it up to you. Lastly, I highly recommend that guests contact hosts during their stay if something is missing or if there is a problem of any kind. That will give the host an opportunity to fix the issue immediately which will ensure a more enjoyable experience.
