The caretakers were very approachable. It has a great view as well. We enjoyed waking up to the view of Taal lake; very nice breeze of fresh air. Activities to do are very limited because of the weather condition. The tree house that is in the photos, was apparently not part of the reserved area. Make sure to confirm first.

Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. All the staff/helpers at Pusod were very friendly and accomodating of all our questions (especially Warren the caretaker). It was good value for money but do note the place is exposed to the outdoors so there is tendency for a lot of bugs and frogs. It is 'rustic' sleeping and living arrangements. We were a big group and enjoyed the fresh air and chatting with each other. Recommend bringing board games, etc as there is not much to do at night time. THANK YOU! :)

Communication online is very prompt and fast. I like how patient Hazel is. She always politely answer my questions and offer detailed response. Its really a big factor for me to book this place. (Weve been here twice already, forgot to place a review last time). I only had hard time reaching to the people in the venue itself. The place is super great. Its ideal for those who want to pitch tents, do outdoor activities or just chill. The lake is beautiful. You can also make arrangements if you want to go see the Taal crater. You can put hammock anywhere, do a photoshoot, put up a bonfire, the banana leaves are also available if you wanna do a boodle meal. Sunset is amazing. Just make sure ask before hand how the lake is, it changes depends on the season. It can be calm or wavy or muddy or filled with so much seaweeds. Outdoor cinema is a wonderful addition but we didnt able to use it due to technical reasons. Make sure to communicate to them first what you need and what you want to do so you can plan in advance. Warren now is more accomodating, he is always there offering help and asking what else we need. We will surely come back again.

The food is great, the staff is friendly, the view is wonderful but it is government property therefore it is a public place even if you book it for an overnight stay. Try out their sailing and paddleboat lessons.

If you are a nature lover this place is for you. If your family wants to trek, explore, kayak, etc for a very minimal fee then you got the right place. No refrigerator so you need to bring ice chest. No TV too but they have LCD projector and speakers that you can use for free, you only need to bring your laptop and external hard drive with lots of movies in it. No problem with electricity, they are using renewable solar energy. Water is abundant, they have outside water connection and rain water catchment system. You might want to bring extra blanket, it is really cold during early morning. Bring toiletries too. Neighborhood is friendly. The entire compound of the center is secured only by a gate and a staff who stay with the you in the building 24/7. The building is an open space, no door to close. If you want to change clothes you may use a small 4x6 sqm multi purpose room or the bath rooms. It's beautiful at night specially when you turn off the lights, you'll see fireflies flying! Haven't seen those in ages. The host and the staff were so nice and courteous. They are just there or a call or text away. Though our vacation was cut short because of the forecasted typhoon Nina that is going to landfall the next day, our host Hazel was so nice to advise us and suggested that we may opt to leave and go to safer place because safety of guests is paramount to them and they are willing to refund the remaining 2 days paid. Thank you Air BNB for Hazel and Warren.
