Superbly located two storey apartment with balcony and roof top. Furnished. Literally walking distance to cafés (some merely steps away), restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres, stadiums, transport and river. Wireless, tv, video, stereo, all the usual stuff. Newly available (as of early 2016). Bathroom renewed!

Oasis in Flinders Lane. Anyone that stays wants to buy.

Wireless, TV, Apple TV, DVD, CD, books, movies, TV shows, Cosmo, Washing machine, rooftop area.

Contact as required. Not intending to be present during guests stay.

cafes, pubs, Huxtaburger, Maha restaurant, Bennetts Lane jazz club, the river and so on. Paris Cat is an excellent Jazz venue and only a few streets away. I heard rumours too of a jazz club starting up in Flinders Lane. We eagerly await.

Five minute walk from Flinders Street Station, ten minute walk from Southern Cross (where the Skybus comes in), one minute to trams that will take you anywhere (not Tahiti).

Potential drawbacks? The place is right in the city and so comes with that soundtrack. If you are sensitive to noise this is likely not the place for you.

The apartment is lovely but the stairwell going up to it needs a lick of paint. I don't see this is an issue just want to let you know is all.

And, the rooftop is still useable and I enjoy it. It is however not a lush as it once was. I am planning major renovations so most of the plants are gone. This is the reason I've not increased the prices despite the place being popular. Again, I don't see this as an issue, just want to make sure have all the facts.

Last, there is a moderate amount of stairs. Alas it is not suitable for babies and very young children or the less sprightly.

One last last thing, Melbourne has excellent public transport. If you are driving, parking can be a hassle or expensive. There are smart options I can tell you about but generally if you want easy car access this is not the place.

Entry and exit. You will get a key either from the building (I will let you know where) or Elbisa our cleaner or me or Louise. I will let you know how to get in as it is secure and requires a few steps.

Kevin's place was in a great location, right on Flinders Lane. He made it super easy for us to check-in early and was great with any questions we had. It had been raining and the place was a bit damp. But otherwise exactly like the pictures and clean and tidy. Great value right in Melbourne's CBD. Thanks Kevin!

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely home. The location is perfect and very good for a city adventure launch pad. Kevin was really good host and we would be very happy to stay here again.

This apartment is really well placed for getting around the city. We walked to most of the places we wanted to see but there are plenty of transport options as well. It's a lively neighbourhood so expect a little hustle and bustle. Personally, we liked that. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and met our expectations perfectly.
