Exclusive use of my bright & sunny home in cosy old house between Green Park & Hyde Park Corner Tube stations. In the heart of the Historic West End, 15 minutes walk to Theatreland, Covent Garden and Soho. 5 minutes walk to the park and Buckingham Palace.


In the heart of prestigious Mayfair, this wonderful two bedroom flat is ideally located to be your base for exploring London. The flat is just opposite Green Park on the original site of the May Fair, and a few minutes walk from Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and the West End.

The flat is 850 square feet over three floors, in a traditional 1790 Mayfair house above a hairdressing salon with high ceilings throughout. On the first floor is a nice kitchen / living room with comfy sofa and armchairs, kitchen with table, and french windows out onto a small terrace. Spacious double and small single bedroom and bathroom with shower / bath on floors above. There are lots of stairs in the flat and no lift so not ideal if elevators are your norm.

This flat boasts an enviable location in the heart of the fashionable West End. It is 5 minutes from Green Park tube station (10 minutes from Hyde Park Corner tube), and in the midst of London's premier shops, flag-ship department stores (20 minutes walk to Harvey Nichols and Harrods) and exclusive boutiques (Bond Street is 10 minutes walk). It is within walking distance to most of London's tourist attractions, the theatre district, St James Park and the Hyde Park, as well as Soho and Trafalgar Square.

It is an ideal place to stay if you're looking for a fun stay sightseeing, going to the theatre or shopping in London.

Although this is rare, if you do make a booking with me (and I’d love for you to stay!), please bear in mind that a viewing may take place, but I promise to let you know and it will be very short!

Incredible house!! fantastic host!! Uno degli angoli più belli di Londra, dove si apprezza la tranquillità e la familiarità del quartiere, mentre sai di trovarti in una metropoli. La bottega, il ristorantino, la farmacia, il negozietto,il pub, la galleria d'arte, tutto sotto casa e tutto un po' posh!! D'altronde siamo a mayfair, il quartiere dov'è nata la regina!!! La casa è magica, come ben mostrano le foto. Forse anche più bella di quanto ci si aspetti. Il bagno al terzo piano è da favola! Jem è stato un perfetto host, gentilissimo e premuroso, il giorno del mio compleanno ha preparato per noi una buonissima cena. Ci ha dato diverse dritte, su concerti, teatro, ristoranti etc. In definitiva, ha reso il nostro lungo soggiorno a Londra indimenticabile! Grazie.

Nice place as long as you don't mind 3 flights of narrow stairs from entry to bathroom and very squeaky/noisey floorboards.

Jen's place was lovely and close to everything, sadly Jen wasn't available to let us in and the third party people were harder to deal with.

Jem & The Lavanda Team, Thank you so much for making my daughter and I’s recent visit to London so comfortable and convenient. The “Flat above…,” on White Horse Street, was absolutely perfect. The accommodations were quaint and cozy and we looked forward to returning to it at the end of our busy days. It was well maintained and we had no problems while we were there for our stay. During our stay we really enjoyed getting to know the immediate neighborhood & restaurants in Shepherds Market, literally right outside the door of the apartment. As we began to explore The City of London and beyond, we found that the apartment was ideally located and it was a short walk to many of our tourist destinations. Also, with the Green Park Underground stop and bike rental stand right up the street, we had easy access to all of the activities we had planned for our London trip. This is the best location and value you can ask for. Mayfair is ideal and even more so Jem's flat is in Shepard's Market - a small pocket of boutique shops and cafes. My father and I loved it and appreciated the (2) bathrooms and (2) bedrooms for space purposes. The coffee and chocolate was a nice touch and the communication and bathroom supplies were superb. Thanks Jem!

49 year old man. A favourite Saturday, walk across the park to the River, some coffee, the papers, a play at the National Theatre (half an hour walk away). A walk back in the moonlight across the park.
