Terry and Jim were amazing hosts. We loved them so much that we booked a second time with them! They are clean, sweet, wonderful people with an amazing cute dog named Chooey. I am so thankful that they were able to host us!

What a fantastic experience staying with Terry and his partner! They have a very clean home and are extremely pleasant and engaging. Terry provided coffee each morning and even cooked breakfast one morning! Their dogs are beautiful and very easy-going. They won't bother you at all during your stay but will welcome your warmth. The location is a 15 minute drive from Marigny or Bywater (for dinner and cocktails) and close to The University of New Orleans (where we were attending an event during the day). It was a very convenient location between both sets of places. I highly recommend staying with them for your Airbnb stay in NOLA. You will not regret any of it. Wonderful all around.

Terry and Jim are exceptional hosts. Their house is cosy and spotless clean although they share it with two very friendly dogs. We had a wonderful quiet room with a private bathroom. Terry made us breakfast every morning and took us downtown in his car, whenever we wanted since his house is too far away to walk to French Quarter. He showed us around, gave tips on what to see and where to go out and never got tired on us questioning him about life in Nola. Both Terry and Jim made us feel like old friends staying in their home and we immediately wished we could have stayed longer to hang out with them. Incredible Terry even picked us up from the airport and took us back at 4.30 am in the morning which is something, most people do not even do for their own family. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences so far and we definitely recommend Terry's and Jim's place to any nice person who loves to meet great people. Because that is exactly what they are. Thank you T&J.

I could not have asked for a better first Airbnb experience! Terry and Jim were so gracious and so welcoming. My boyfriend Chris and I were coming to New Orleans to celebrate my birthday and neither of us had been before so we had no idea where to stay and we were very unfamiliar with the neighborhoods. Originally, we only planned to stay with Terry one night because we thought we would want to stay somewhere closer to the French Quarter the 2nd night(Terry's place is about a 10-15min drive to the Quarter), but Terry was such an awesome host and we had such a great experience that we ended up staying all three nights anyways. I definitely recommend staying more than one night so that you have time to enjoy either of Terry's porches. It was so nice to be able to sit on the porch and relax for a moment away from all the craziness of the French Quarter. Terry and Jim made us breakfast every morning(Frittatas, French Toast, Muffins, etc) and on the morning of my birthday they even got mimosas and cupcakes :) The bed in the private room was very comfy and there was plenty of storage space. The private bathroom was right across from the bedroom which was great and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Terry and Jim offered to give us rides into town often which was amazing and when we first arrived, Terry had laid out an array of brochures and travel books. He and Jim even took the time to sit down and help us figure out the map of the French Quarter-telling us where to go, what to avoid and pointing out which restaurants /bars had the best happy hour and food :) NOLA was amazing in and of itself but Terry and Jim made our stay(and my birthday) unforgettable! Thank you for the best bday ever!

I could not have asked for a better first Airbnb experience. My boyfriend and I were traveling to New Orleans to celebrate my birthday and neither of us had been before so we had no idea where to stay. I looked through just about every listing near New Orleans and couldn't decide. Terry's place was one of our top 3 choices though so I was very excited when he responded so quickly. Not knowing the neighborhoods of NOLA very well, we weren't sure if distance was going to be a problem or not so we decided to stay with Terry for one night and go from there(most hosts require a 2-3 night stay minimum so it was great to not have to commit to one place for the whole weekend). Terry was such a great and welcoming host though and we had such a good time that we ended up staying there all 3 nights anyways :) The house is beautiful and I definitely recommend staying there more than one night just so you can enjoy some relaxing time on either of the porches. Terry and Jim made us breakfast every morning(frittata, muffins, and mimosas plus French Toast and cupcakes on my birthday!!!). The house is about a 10-15 min drive to the French Quarter and while this may not be ideal for people wanting to be in the party scene 24/7, it was perfect for a couple like us who wanted to be able to escape the party scene and craziness every once in a while. Not only that, but Terry and Jim offered to give us rides to town pretty much whenever we needed so not being closer to the French Quarter was no problem at all. When we first got to the house, the room was nicely decorated and Terry had laid out an assortment of brochures and travel guides on the desk. He sat down with us and mapped out the important landmarks, restaurants, and places to go within the French Quarter and also gave us a few tips regarding parking, cabs and places to avoid. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The private bathroom was right across from the bedroom too and the shower had great water pressure. On the first night, Terry and Jim invited us out with their friends and we got to experience New Orleans like the locals do :) I had such a good time and Terry and Jim really made my birthday/New Orleans experience unforgettable. And I feel like I've made a couple of great new friends. Definitely staying with Terry again next time I go back to NOLA!
