A cosy converted railway goods wagon (c.1900) with a stunning view over our fascinating organic farm and uninhabited valleys beyond. You will cook and eat in a converted bus - there are loos and showers in the farmyard.
This upland sheep farm is host to a community of volunteers from all over the world and you will be welcome to become involved in our way of life - lived close to land and seasons, or to enjoy seclusion, a place that radiates peace and vitality and dark, unpolluted skies.
I'm an organic farmer, with a passion for wildlife, woods, art, people. I love the outdoor and creative life that growing food and rebuilding a once derelict traditional farm offers. From the farm we run an archaeological company and run courses in prehistoric arts. We practise traditional crafts like stone carving, basket making.
