Positioned in the heart of Nørrebro my humble home is ideal when a rest from the buzzing hipsters paradise is needed. Within 1-5 min walk around you have art- and book stores, cocktailbars, gourmet (as well as cheap) restaurants, cafes, breweries and the largest park in Copenhagen. My flat was completely renovated in february 2017. It's small, authentic nørrebro-style with a luminous living room with fold out bed, a well equipped kitchen, shower in the basement and a double bed in the bedroom.

Lo spazio
In February 2017 I decided to renovate the whole place completely - moving out for a month it's now like a dream with freshly pained walls, new sanded floors etc. It's a cosy place with a tiny traditional toilet, large shared showers in the basement, a comfy double bed and a fold-out sleeping couch which comfortably sleeps two.

Accesso per gli ospiti
Renting my home you'll have access to everything; fridge, brand new SMEG stovetop, unlimited washing and drying and FREE BIKES. Depending on how long you're staying, Nørrebro has got it all and wandering around this lovely neighborhood would be my first recommendation. However if you feel like jumping on the two-wheeler like all the Danes does (yes, theres actually more bikes and cars in Copenhagen) then i've got two bikes you can have to get around the city.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
More about the shower:

The flat has got a small toilet and shower in the basement of the building. The basement is being renovated hence looks a bit "rough" without paint etc. You find the shower by exiting the apartment by the backdoor in the kitchen, walk down the stairs, turn the light on on your right and walk 3-4 meters ahead. Here is the shower. Further down the coridoor is two other slightly bigger ones but I use the first one.

Copenaghen, Danimarca

I love my neighbourhood for its diversity! Not so long ago, Nørrebro was mostly synonymous with anti-establishment groups such as de autonome and Ungdomshuset. The neighborhood has also been home to ghettos, gang warfare, and failed integration projects. But Nørrebro has many faces. It is an area undergoing constant development, and new green spaces, playgrounds, Superkilen park, and a green cycle path through the district have given the neighborhood a new lease of life. Urban entrepreneurs have enhanced and improved Nørrebro so that it now conjures up images of urban gardens, bearded hipsters, and porridge bars, rather than troublemakers and arsonists. Nørrebro has become smarter and nicer, but still has its “brown bodegas” and kebab shops, and enough edge to retain its character.

Showers are in the basement. Just exit the kitchen door, walk down the basement and continue 10 m ahead. On your left is one shower, and continuing a little further is two showers next to each other on your left. I’ve of cause left towels on the bed.

A few recommendations nearby

Food: Two relatively cheap options close by is:
i) Ma’ed on Griffenfeldsgade 7 serveres delicious, shareable Ethiopian pancakes for around 15€. It’s great for vegetarians as well.
ii) Little further down Griffenfeldsgade is Ramen to Biiru – great Ramen soups for around same price.
iii) Bahn Mi on Elmegade20 serves great Vietnamese sandviches for lunch

Foodmarkets:
‘Torvehallerne’ is 10 min walk away and consists of 500m2 small food stands - pricy but great ingredients for a home cooked meal
‘Paper Island’ is in the city, actually on the other side of the channel, a temporary streetfood market with lots of relatively cheap options. Worth a visit or though it's often packed!
‘Westmarket’ indoor foodmarket on Vesterbro (not quite as nice as the others in my opinion)

Beers: Where to start.. There’s tons of bars around but Kind of Blue on Ravnsborggade 7 is a cosy living room-viby place for a chill beer. Dupont table-tennis bar on Griffenfeldsgade 52 is certaintly worth a visit and if you wanna go kick on until late in the morning you’ve got Rust at Guldbergsgade 8.
Books: Go Ark books on Møllegade – it’s a trendy little place mainly selling Danish books translated into English.
Shopping: take a walk down Elmegade running from Skt. Hans square just down the street. The quality (as well as the prices though) is high.

Don’t be bothered with the little mermaid but consider visiting Louisiana modern art museum, State museum of art or spend a day exploring Vesterbro hood!
