Once upon a time, this vintage building known as The Riviera, was a hotel! This unit & only a few lucky other units share the beautiful views that are from this 3rd story studio. With a modest 430 sqft, the view will most definitely be your favorite part about the unit. Imagine getting sleepy, watching the city lights and listening to the waves crash. But it's also definitely well outfitted with the best of everything. Queen size firm mattress with down feather topper on wood sleigh bed. The comforter is down as well. Community balcony outside of front door. Lots of name brand stuff. New bevel edged subway tiled shower enclosure. Sheer & block out window shades. Stove, small refrig, toaster, french press, coffee grinder & maker, utensils, knives, & cookware. 52in flat screen on rotating arm. Comfortable suede L shaped couch with chaise & bar with 2 modern stools.

Easy access! Contact host within 24 hrs of your stay to receive the codes for both entry to bldg & unit. The suite door locks & unlocks by entering the code, getting the green light, & turning the knob. Password for Wifi is on the house manual in the kitchen. Netflix ready. The ihome player will play iPhones 4 thru 7. Nice towels, Lotions, Shampoos, conditioners, soaps provided. Laundry Room coin operated & conveniently located down the hallway.

No need for me to meet since theres electronic key-padded entries. Contact host within 24 hours of arrival to receive the codes.

I'm pretty flexible with short notice. There is no cleaning fee but you are expected to leave unit in the same condition received, sparkly! My cleaning lady is available if you don't wish to clean but don't make a terrible mess. Leave $30 or more for cleaning if you wish to use her services. Absolutely no smoking inside my place. There is a 14.00 % CA and Los Angeles tax rate on stays of 30 days or fewer.

There's no keys! Entry codes are available upon request 24 hrs prior to arrival. The entire unit and the laundry room and community balcony are there for your use. No chatting on the balcony past 10pm.
Getting to the unit:
Parking lot at rear of building. ***March 20-April 30th our parking lot will be going under renovations so only street parking at that time.* Walk distance to beach... across street, walk along fence to ramp and then your toes are in the sand!***
The parking lot is a little tricky to find so make sure to read the directions to the lot very carefully and you won't get lost! The lot is at the end of an alley that's accessible from Pacific, between 38th and 39th St. The gate to the building is the ornate brown one with the key pad on it. Contact host for code within 24 hrs of stay. To get to the unit, stick to the right, taking the 8 steps toward the screen door. You'll pass thru an outdoor patio doing this and the laundry room, which is the first door on the R side. ($1.50 for wash, $1.75 dry). The unit will be on the right side at the very end of the hall, #8. When you walk in, the light switch is located above the refrigerator on the right side
The balcony can be used 8am-9pm for relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine, reading, etc. After 9pm a talking voice transmits into bedrooms of neighbors.

You might run into residents of the building, The Riviera, so when you do, say "Hi!" With the access codes, there's no need to meet me. You can come and go as you please. Check-in yourself, anytime after 1pm. Ask for access codes & arrival info within 24hrs of arrival. Becareful, if you decide to sit on the balcony & take advantage of the view, do so before 9pm as a talking voice travels thru the windows of my neighbors bedrooms.

Being so close to the beach is great but during the summer months the beach does tend to get a little noisy- hence! the ear plugs on the bedside table or bar. No crimes in the area last I looked. Its located in a unique little corner of coastal San Pedro called Point Fermin. You'll notice, driving down Pacific, how it changes from the downtown area to the beachy end town. Tons of movies and tv shows are filmed in the area. Definitely check out my guidebook which I spent hours on putting together which has all my recommended places to go to in the area.

There's a bus stop a few small blocks away at Pacific and 36th but in LA you will want a car to get around. Parking is at the rear of the building and on the streets. I recommend using Uber or UberX for transportation or renting a car. I love Uber! Ask for my promo code & get $15 off your first ride

Easy walk down to Cabrillo Beach & great breakfast hot spots Lighthouse Cafe & Pacific Diner. A short drive will take you to Rex's, The Omelette & Waffle Shop & The Corner bakery. In the mid-afternoons, when the wind picks up, you can see wind surfers in the Cabrillo Beach cove, outside the front windows. Dolphin sitings are common. Alcapulco's near Ports O'Cal is a great place to watch the cargo ships pass by in the harbor. All full detailed guidebook of all my recommended places to go is on Airbnb.

Upon departure, if you wish not to clean, leave $30 for the cleaning lady, otherwise follow instructions posted on manual in kitchen.
Entry codes are provided upon request 24 hrs prior to arrival.
Early check in or late check out may be accommodated; just ask day of. If you want to extend your stay, send a message thru airbnb messaging system.
*From March 20th-April 30th there will only be street parking as our lot is getting renovated.*

MUST Read the house manual posted in the kitchen upon arrival. Please take off shoes to keep place clean & not bother guy below. Don't party or be loud. Leave it exactly the way you found it; clean & orderly. Do Not Smoke on the balcony. Absolutely no smoking inside or you will be charged the amount of the deposit and or additional cleaning charges. No use of illegal substances. My cleaning lady is available if you don't wish to clean but don't make a terrible mess. Leave $30 and a note for her to clean if you wish to use her services.

To use the oven, find a lighter (either 2nd drawer, L of the sink Or top L most drawer). Turn middle knob to "gas," wait 5 sec, open oven door & place flame over/ slightly thru small hole & bottom, front & middle of oven, hold until u see/hear light. Close door. Turn knob to desired degrees.

Upon departure, you can leave $30 for the cleaning lady, if you wish not to clean, otherwise...
oPlease take dirty towels, sheets & pillow cases off & leave in dirty hamper in closet, L side under shelves. Please leave decorative & protective zipper pillowcases & duvet on, if clean.
oPut toilet seat down and, optional, fold last piece of toilet paper in v shape
oSweep (broom is located R side of frig), clean off smudge marks on switches, buttons, glass, mirrors (cleaners in lower leftmost cabinet), take trash to bin in alley if full (1 toilet & 2 trash bins; trash bags are in the 2nd drawer to the R of the sink)
oMake sure all 3 remotes are back on the coffee table on the white platter.
oThe kitchen runner carpet is placed just after the trash receptacle so that trash can freely open and close.
oPlease turn off all lights & fan when you leave the unit.
oMoney for used items? Food & drink items are there for your use by way of the honor system so leave $ for what you use.
