Descrizione

- A large, bright room in the center of Prague, at a walking distance from the historical centre. At the border between the historical center, the bourgeois district and the alternative/underground district.
- All rooms have keys.

The flat is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from most major sites, as well as extremely convenient as to public transportation. The three lines of metro of Prague are within 3-5mn walking distance (Mº IP Pavlova, Muzeum, and Namesti Miru), as well as a large number of day and night tram lines (the busiest hub of transport in Prague is at a 3mn walk). Night or day, walking or using transportation, you will never be very far from the flat. This is something I personally appreciate a lot in those cold central-european winters.

It's a reconstructed flat with high ceilings and lots of light.
There is secure WiFi, a large furnished kitchen and 2 bathrooms. You will share one bathroom only with me. The other bathroom is reserved for potential guests in the other room and/or my flatmate.

You will have a large room with lots of light in summer (evening sun). The flat is on a high floor with no direct vis-à-vis, there are windows on both the east and west side of the flat. All this makes the flat bright, so even in winter, the light condition is still pretty good.

If there are 4 guests or more, you will also have access to the third room so you can be comfortable (ask me for details).

I encourage you guests to freely enjoy the common areas.
Some extras available:
- Free Coffee/Tea
- Free use of washing machine and miscellaneous soaps

You will share the common areas of the flat.
Me : middle-aged French man, arrived in Prague, last year, after cruising many places in the world. So I have some good knowledge of the various areas, whether from a local or expat view - it is actually nice to know both-, though I still struggle with the language.

The flat is located at the border of the touristic staroměstka and the bourgeois area of Vinhorady, and a few minutes walking away from the bohemian žizkov. All three areas are worth spending time, depending on your particular tastes and length of stay.

The touristic area is of course a must, but if you stay more than 3 days, I encourage you to venture to those neighbouring districts.

Going into details :
The flat is about 5-10mn walking from the National Opera and Wenceslas Square, Prague’s cultural and commercial centre. The statue of St. Wenceslas, symbol of the Czech nation, dominates the square.

The main National Museum building is located at the upper end of Wenceslas Square. Here you can view a variety of permanent and temporary exhibitions.

A pleasant 30 minute walk will take you up to a hill dominated by the Prague Castle via Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter and Charles Bridge or from Wenceslas Square, you can head down Národní třída to the National Theatre.

A short 3mn walk in the opposite direction will bring you to náměstí Míru (Peace Square), dominated by the Church of St. Ludmila. A bit further, on náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad (George of Podebrady Square), you’ll find the modern Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The nearby park, Riegrovy sady, is a great place to relax and get some fresh air. In summer this is a great place with great beer, food, and people.

In the side streets surrounding the flat, you can find many restaurants and bars where you can not only have a delicious meal, but also enjoy a pleasant evening out. I can highly recommend U sádlů, Balbínova poetická hospůdka, the pub Pastička, and Kaaba for some nice place to chill after a long day of walk.
Right below the flat is Popocafepetl, which is hip and frequented by the local youngsters, and when you see the prices you know why.

If you’d like to get a bird’s-eye view of Prague, you can visit the nearby Žižkov Tower with its viewing gallery (spectacular) and restaurant (less spectacular).

But there are so many more to cover. So don't hesitate to ask if you have any specific taste.

The three lines of metro of Prague are within 3-5mn walking distance (Mº IP Pavlova, Muzeum, and Namesti Miru), as well as a large number of day and night tram lines (the busiest hub of transport in Prague is at a 3mn walk). My GF and I stayed in Bruno's flat for the weekend and Bruno was a stellar host. His flexibility with check in/out was extremely helpful. It was almost as if we had the flat to ourselves with our own room and bathroom. All of which was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had all necessities as well as a killer coffee selection. The flat was extremely quiet and yet was in a lively part of town within a 20 minute walk to every major sight/attraction. The major difference we noticed was Bruno. He was readily available, had amazing food suggestions, and is all-around an awesome person to get to know. Trust me, you won't regret staying here. I don't think you could do any better for price/quality/loacation. Thanks again Bruno!

Bruno was a great host, very welcoming and responsive to any texts or questions we had. He shared maps and tips for good restaurants and bars. The rooms were really comfortable and spacious, great for large groups of people. The location was great and easily accessible to public transportation. We would highly recommend Bruno's apartment as it would make your stay in Prague really great.

Bruno is the best! Flat was greatly located in a quite street but close to the town centre. Public transport is super easy to take you around, yet plenty to see at the front door.

Hi I am Bruno. I will be happy to host you and make sure you have a wonderful stay! I spent my life away from home, whether for work or leisure, so I am pretty used to and actually enjoy sharing with an international crowd.
I am a big fan of music and dancing, in particular latin dancing, so if you share that passion, feel free to join me !
I don't dislike a nice table and good food and wine either, and Prague has a few spots that are worth the trip.
Among the things I want to improve on this year is photography and cooking, so if you know any of that, I am all yours (that is when I am not working on my future business).
I have been in Prague for now three years, so anything you need to know, ask me, I'll do my best to answer you.
