- A second bed can be added
- A large, bright room in the center of Prague, at a walking distance from the historical centre. At the border between the historical center, the bourgeois district and the alternative/underground district.
- All rooms have keys.
The flat is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from most major sites, as well as extremely convenient as to public transportation. The three lines of metro of Prague are within 3-5mn walking distance (Mº IP Pavlova, Muzeum, and Namesti Miru), as well as a large number of day and night tram lines (the busiest hub of transport in Prague is at a 3mn walk). Night or day, walking or using transportation, you will never be very far from the flat. This is something I personally appreciate a lot in those cold central-european winters.
It's a reconstructed flat with high ceilings and lots of light.
There is secure WiFi, a large furnished kitchen and 2 bathrooms. You will share one bathroom only with me. The other bathroom is reserved for potential guests in the other room and/or my flatmate.
You will have a large room with lots of light in summer (evening sun). The flat is on a high floor with no direct vis-à-vis, there are windows on both the east and west side of the flat. All this makes the flat bright, so even in winter, the light condition is still pretty good.
If there are 4 guests or more, you will also have access to the third room so you can be comfortable (ask me for details).
I don't mind at all sharing the kitchen with you, or if you use the ingredients I have to cook and so on, but keep in mind that what you rent is the room, not the kitchen and there is no breakfast included. So please don't complain about my coffee or else :-)
No smoking allowed in the flat. However it is possible to smoke on the same floor.
No big noise after 10pm (this is a czech law denominated "the silent hours" law, and it is enforced here). That means also to avoid showering or using the hair dryer late night (past midnight).
You cannot have outsiders coming to the flat (for obvious security reasons).
Take good care of anything you use:
- Please do not remove your makeup with the towels! It is really hard to remove the stains afterwards.
- As much as possible, avoid eating or drinking on the bed.
- As much as possible, do not leave an abundance of hair after you in the bathroom. A little is obviously ok, but pick up your hair if you have many.
Basically behave like you would in your home, and in a shared flat, not like in the youth hostel.
You can use the kitchen freely, I don't mind at all but you can't complain about it :-) I only rent the room and bathroom.
Me : middle-aged French man, arrived in Prague, a few years ago, after cruising many places in the world. So I have some good knowledge of the various areas, whether from a local or expat view - it is actually nice to know both-, though I still struggle with the language.
Hi I am Bruno. I will be happy to host you and make sure you have a wonderful stay! I spent my life away from home, whether for work or leisure, so I am pretty used to and actually enjoy sharing with an international crowd.
I am a big fan of music and dancing, in particular latin dancing, so if you share that passion, feel free to join me !
I don't dislike a nice table and good food and wine either, and Prague has a few spots that are worth the trip.
Among the things I want to improve on this year is photography and cooking, so if you know any of that, I am all yours (that is when I am not working on my future business).
I have been in Prague for now three years, so anything you need to know, ask me, I'll do my best to answer you.
