Lo spazio
9 years ago, I transformed a 1957 Leave it to Beaver, into a Midcentury Modern Ranch. Almost everything is new. As you enter the front door, sit on the large woven bench for your comfort, leave your shoes & slip into silk slippers awaiting you or walk barefoot. Botanicals, succulents, cactus, fruit trees & natural wildlife visit this space daily as we welcome peach-faced lovebirds, bunnies & hummingbirds attracted to the lush vegetation here. Beautiful sunsets & sunrises to enjoy & easy access to fun, the city & the airport; you are home.

Accesso per gli ospiti
Free parking on street. Starbucks is a short 2 block walk from here. Pick up food or bring back leftovers for compact refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle & microwave here if you like. There is a small gym with i-fit treadmill, free weights & a press bench & many DVD’s to enjoy. Inquire with me 24 hrs advance. Some of my top favorites spots to check out in no special order:
1. Musical Instrument Museum
2. Heard Museum
3. Old Town Scottsdale
3. Western Spirit Museum
4. Desert Botanical Gardens
5. Day Trip to Sedona
6. Sticky buns & music @ El Chorro
7. Early morning or sunset Hot Air Ballon ride
8. Jumbo Shrimp Appetizers & cocktail view @ Orange Sky Lounge, Talking Stick Casino.
9. Put on the trail runners & traverse Camelback Mountain tail to head.
10. Take a walk up the stairs at sunrise or sunset @ The Papago Mountains facing McDowell Rd E of 52nd st.
11. Pueblo Grande Museum
12. Bike the vast canal system early am when it is cool & quiet on the streets.
13.Visit The Royal Palms Hotel for an evening of music, Arcadia Ln & Camelback Rd.
14.The Phoenician Hotel has an incredible hidden walk path where all the plants are marked & a view on the Terrace with a libation is stellar.
15.The Arizona Biltmore for 18 holes, dinner or afternoon cocktail on the lawn; nice shops do close by 5pm
16. Taliesin West, (URL HIDDEN) tour, winter home of Frank Lloyd Wright
17. And The Grand Canyon!
18. My years as an adventurer (Rim-rim-rim Grand Canyon, kayaking the Salt River and AZ lakes for fishing, World's longest SkyDive, MS150 Bike Races, PF Chang Races) & special event career, I can be available as professional custom Tour Guide by car or bike; just give agenda ideas & notice to plan for the best fun.
19. Rent paddle boats or kayak at Tempe Town Lake.
20. 1st Friday’s Downtown Art Festivals.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
If you are staying long term, compact refrigerator is avail to rent ($50 per reservation period). Beautiful location for walks or cycling in this quiet family residential area, please refrain 11pm-7am from loud noise, so others may enjoy this space & keep my great neighbors happy.

I have a well trained 10 lb hypo allergenic service dog who accompanies me everywhere & will not be in your room at any time. Please ignore him & refrain from playing with him as I depend on his obedience in many venues. He was sick & dying when I found him & has turned cute & hard for some to resist.

Due to AirBnb’s current policy of not guaranteeing true identity of guests thru their ID check, a mandatory rule for my personal & property safety, I do ask you to present copy ahead of & again at check in of your government issued drivers license &/or passport for each reservation.

During season you will note the variety of figs, and fruit on this property's trees to enjoy. This most sought after location & neighborhood has large beautiful homes with green gardens & originally filled with orchards of oranges, grapefruits dates & more…In the 1950” some become estate homes & others part of an exclusive development synonymous with MidCentury Modern & as such, has attracted artists, architects, developers & designers to reside & raise their families, enjoy an active lifestyle of hiking camelback mountain, biking & running the canals created originally by the HoHokom Indians, the longest living people. More on them at the Pueblo Grande Museum nearby. On the fringe of all this, hip breweries like O.H.S.O., Shemer Art Museum & restaurants to satisfy any interest are within walking distance or a 2 mile Uber. Anything you’d like to know, just ask me. So many options!

Howdy & welcome to the Wild Wild West! I can offer you quiet & privacy or exciting citywide options to experience. I love all AZ has to offer & as an outdoor adventurist with my career in the arts, hot glass & the special event industry nationally, I have vast experience in this state. My interests are in restaurant & club openings, photography, architecture, holistic health, art events, music, new venues, tours, museums, hotels, Int'l travel & FUN. Trained as a VA Certified Caregiver, my hypo-allergenic bichon frise service dog travels everywhere with me. I enjoy to kayak, cycle, travel, visit music venues, special events, local overnight festivals, Quaker & Buddhist studies. I personally have enjoyed Airbnb when I travel away from my home & my style is to enjoy the sunrise & sunsets, visit the top attractions of the location & sample the local fare. I hope you will consider staying here & I wish you safe travels to the Valley of the Sun.
