This sunny and charming apartment has much to offer, very comfortable and cozy with views overlooking the rooftops of the 7th arrondissement. The apartment is located on the 3th floor of a building with an elevator . The access is secured by a door code and a second gate with a code as well.

The building itself has a beautiful courtyard, the windows are double-glazed so the apartment is very quiet., The apartment is always full of light.
The apartment has a living room with high ceiling, and also a mezzanine where is the bathroom and the bedroom.
Through the bedroom window you have access to the terrace with a 360 degree view of Paris.

Located just behind the prestigious Orsay museum and the charm of the seine river two steps away from the apartment. With its own distinct and charming personality this is a very special apartment for a memorable stay in Paris.

It is a mansion built in 1705 for the Marquis de Nointel. This hotel particulier was built on land known as "the latch" belonging to Mansard, architect of Louis XIV. It is inhabited in 1787 by the Prince de Talleyrand, the famous minister of the first Napoleon. This hotel particulier was renovated in XIXèeme, with the construction of a building on the street. It was refurbished and transformed into its current configuration in 1980.

Neighborhood Insight:

The elegant 7th is rich with art and culture, as well as the upper crust of society, with its dignified hotels particuliers housing ministries, embassies and luxurious private residences. Stately, subdued and refined, the 7th seduces with Napoleonic sophistication, and its iconic Eiffel Tower provides the reference point for all of Paris.Military and history buffs, the tomb of Napolean, the little man with big ideas, in the Invalides, is a must. Rue de Grenelle is dotted with shops full of quintessentially French toddler fashion, as well as the Musee Maillol, whose permanent collection contains Degas and Cezanne. The Musee de Quai Branly is home to an unparalleled collection of Asian, American, Oceanian and African artifacts, and across the river lie the Grand Palais and Petit Palais - stars of the 1900 World’s Fair - with their opulent art nouveau interiors and gemlike glass ceilings.
Located just behind the prestigious Orsay museum and the charm of the Seine river two steps away from the apartment. Visiting Rodin's museum nearby, its garden and sculptures will make this moment unforgettable. St Germain, located around the oldest church in Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, was once the epitome of Left-Bank intellectual chic. Today it is more luxury than literary and full of high-end interior design stores and fashion boutiques. There are also many cinemas, bookshops and art galleries. Some of the city’s finest restaurants and brasseries are in St Germain. Wander around the cafés, flower markets and shops at the Carrefour de Buci, have a coffee at the Deux Magots, walk along the historic Cour du Commerce St-André, a fascinating cobbled passageway where you will find the oldest café in Paris, Le Procope. Be sure to visit the Luxembourg Gardens, one of the city’s most beautiful parks. And shop to your heart’s - and wallet’s - content along the Boulevard St Germain, rue de Rennes and rue du Cherche Midi.

Das Appartement ist bezaubernd, wie aus einem Wes Anderson Film. Die Lage ist perfekt für Sightseeing, viele schöne Restaurants auch zu Fuß zu erreichen.

We loved our stay! Checkin was smooth, and he accommodated our early arrival. The place is charming and in a safe and wonderful neighborhood. Just steps from the Musee d'Orsay and the Seine. Many restaurants and shopping nearby, but also very quiet not in the middle of all the tourists. Eugenio left a thoughtful guidebook to Paris for us. If you were very tall, you might have a tough time in the entry way and the shower. For us, this place was wonderful--a great home in Paris with a thoughtful host, where we would not hesitate to visit again! Thank you, Eugenio!

My wife and I had been planning a 14 day Paris vacation for several years and we were pleased to find what looked like a great value right smack in the middle of many of the main attractions. Turns out, we were right! Eugenio's apartment is cozy and has everything you need to make a longer stay very comfortable. The washer/dryer machine and the very quiet building were both welcomed features. We ate out most of the time, but decided to eat in twice. We were able to buy groceries and cook with all the kitchen tools and utensils we needed. A Carrefour express (convenience store/small grocery) is a half block away and has most everything you'd need for a dinner in. Eugenio came to meet us at the appointed time at check in and showed us everything we'd need to know about the place. The wifi was reliable. We were hoping to make more use of the roof top, but we found that there were no chairs there and it got unexpectedly cold during our stay. Had it been about 10 degrees warmer and a little easier to get to the roof, we'd have picnicked there. (You have to climb a 5 step wall-mounted ladder and crawl through a fairly small opening onto the roof. I'm a slim 5'9' 165 and it was a fairly tight fit.) The bathing accommodations were a bit different from what I'm used to in the US, but they were certainly adequate. Being used to a shower where I'm able to stand upright and use both hands to bathe, it took a little experimentation for me to figure out the easiest way to execute my showers - mainly because I'm really not very flexible and sitting in the tub using a shower wand isn't what I'm used to. Having done it for 2 weeks straight, I'm a pro. Still prefer my shower at home, but this is certainly no reason not to stay here (unless you have some physical reason where this setup will not work for you). The place is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again when we return to Paris! Thanks, Eugenio!

Eugenio was on top of it all: He welcomed me, accommodating my earlier arrival than normal check-in. Everything was ready and comfortable. The home is beautiful, facing a courtyard. And it's steps (literally) away from the Orsay. I felt very lucky to find it.
