This sunny and charming apartment has much to offer, very comfortable and cozy with views overlooking the rooftops of the 7th arrondissement. The apartment is located on the 3th floor of a building with an elevator . The access is secured by a door code and a second gate with a code as well.

The building itself has a beautiful courtyard, the windows are double-glazed so the apartment is very quiet., The apartment is always full of light.
The apartment has a living room with high ceiling, and also a mezzanine where is the bathroom and the bedroom.
Through the bedroom window you have access to the terrace with a 360 degree view of Paris.

Located just behind the prestigious Orsay museum and the charm of the seine river two steps away from the apartment. With its own distinct and charming personality this is a very special apartment for a memorable stay in Paris.

It is a mansion built in 1705 for the Marquis de Nointel. This hotel particulier was built on land known as "the latch" belonging to Mansard, architect of Louis XIV. It is inhabited in 1787 by the Prince de Talleyrand, the famous minister of the first Napoleon. This hotel particulier was renovated in XIXèeme, with the construction of a building on the street. It was refurbished and transformed into its current configuration in 1980.

Neighborhood Insight:

The elegant 7th is rich with art and culture, as well as the upper crust of society, with its dignified hotels particuliers housing ministries, embassies and luxurious private residences. Stately, subdued and refined, the 7th seduces with Napoleonic sophistication, and its iconic Eiffel Tower provides the reference point for all of Paris.Military and history buffs, the tomb of Napolean, the little man with big ideas, in the Invalides, is a must. Rue de Grenelle is dotted with shops full of quintessentially French toddler fashion, as well as the Musee Maillol, whose permanent collection contains Degas and Cezanne. The Musee de Quai Branly is home to an unparalleled collection of Asian, American, Oceanian and African artifacts, and across the river lie the Grand Palais and Petit Palais - stars of the 1900 World’s Fair - with their opulent art nouveau interiors and gemlike glass ceilings.
Located just behind the prestigious Orsay museum and the charm of the Seine river two steps away from the apartment. Visiting Rodin's museum nearby, its garden and sculptures will make this moment unforgettable. St Germain, located around the oldest church in Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, was once the epitome of Left-Bank intellectual chic. Today it is more luxury than literary and full of high-end interior design stores and fashion boutiques. There are also many cinemas, bookshops and art galleries. Some of the city’s finest restaurants and brasseries are in St Germain. Wander around the cafés, flower markets and shops at the Carrefour de Buci, have a coffee at the Deux Magots, walk along the historic Cour du Commerce St-André, a fascinating cobbled passageway where you will find the oldest café in Paris, Le Procope. Be sure to visit the Luxembourg Gardens, one of the city’s most beautiful parks. And shop to your heart’s - and wallet’s - content along the Boulevard St Germain, rue de Rennes and rue du Cherche Midi.

Eugenio met us at check-in and showed me around his charming attic apartment. He was very responsive when I had a recycling question and when we changed our plans a bit. /// Everything worked well, which left us to enjoy Paris from this perfect location. Walk to the Louvre, see the Eiffel tower from the deck. /// The tub has low head clearance for a shower, but I found it made for great baths. This apartment more than makes up for in charm anything it compromises in size.

Eugenio’s place is super nice and cozy! True parisien apartment, I really enjoyed staying there. It's ideal for 1-2 people but I would not recommend it for more guests. The rooftop area is super chic and amazing for the pictures. I loved living there and would be glad to come back!

I loved staying at Eugenio's flat! Small but cozy, artfully appointed, with the appealing angles and compact kitchen/bath/toilet facilities of a top-floor, angled-roof Paris apartment. The basics: spotlessly clean, GREAT location, all appliances operated correctly for me (though I didn't use the washer/dryer), very comfortable full-size bed, VERY secure (two locking doors to the flat and the locking outer door and inner courtyard gate on the ground floor), and TOTALLY quiet! I don't recall even ever hearing a siren anytime I was in the flat! PLUS, the view from the small terrace accessible ONLY from this flat is wonderful - expansive view of rooftops, PLUS the top half of the Tour Eiffel, the dome of Les Invalides, La Madeleine and the towers of Notre Dame. Also the roof of the Musee d'Orsay (less than 2 blocks away). The extras of an elevator (yes, tiny) and washer/dryer are really a plus. I used the stairs a lot, anyway - it's on the (European) 3rd floor. Only cautions : as others have written, the climb up and down the ladder in the bedroom and crawling through the small window to the rooftop terrace is not trivial; for me it was worth it, but if you're not in good shape it could be impractical. Plus, for those of MY age group (over 60) who sometimes get up in the middle of the night, the toilet is down the narrow, steep stairs from the bedroom (use the handrail!). And if you're over 5ft tall (I'm 6ft) you can't stand up in the tub/shower. But these were all minor accommodations for me, and did not detract from the enjoyment of the flat or entire holiday experience. There's an express market within 1/2 block and a bakery within 1 1/2 blocks, right on Boulevard Saint-Germain, with a Metro station right across the boulevard. Eugenio was a perfect host, prompt with communication, very helpful in showing me about the flat, and more than willing to provide information and assistance. He's assembled a prodigious notebook covering everything in the flat/building and services of all kinds in the neighborhood and city; answers to almost any conceivable question are provided within. This was my first Airbnb experience in Paris, and thanks to Eugenio, it was marvelous.

Eugenio was very professional. He gave me all pertinent information before I departed, he recommended a car service, and he had someone meet me upon arrival. The place was clean and looked like the photos. The window to get outside, the bathtub, and the length of the bed is better suited for a petite person. The apartment is in a great location and I would definitely stay there again.
