You are most welcome to this historical half-timbered house, situated in the quiet old village-centre (shop, 2 restaurants nearby). The surrounding Alsace countryside is ideal for walking and biking. The town-centre of Basel is easily reached by bus in 25 minutes, or in 30 to the Fair buildings. (Bus stop 150 m from the house). The apartment has its own bathroom. It is ideal for 1 to 2 persons. It has a separate entrance, a small garden terrace and a fully equipped kitchen and small dining area and its own parking space.

We love to welcome our guests in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. You can be completely independent, but it will be our pleasure to invite you for tea and coffee and to inform you of all things we know of to discover.

The bus stop is located in the centre of Schoenenbuch. The bus always leaves at
12 and at 42 Minutes past the hour, at busy times also at 42 and 57 Minutes past. The No.33 Bus takes you to the “Schifflaende” bus stop the very centre
To go to the Mustermesse, you take the No.1 or No.6 tram, which gets you there in 5 minutes.
To go to the main railway station from Schoenenbuch, you take the No.33 bus
to the “Schuetzenhaus” stop, change to tram No.1 (direction SBB),(3rd stop).
Our house is mainly made of timber, is three hundred years old and enjoys historical protection. Inside the house smoking is forbidden but you may smoke in the little garden outside the kitchen door.

Ich habe grosse Freude an menschlichen Kontakten. Deshalb vermiete ich unseren Hausteil, den unsere Kinder nicht mehr bewohnen. Ich reise oft und viel auf der Welt und finde über persönliche Unterkünfte den Kontakt zu den dort lebenden Menschen. Das will ich selber auch bieten.
Als Sprachlehrerin, die selber fünf Sprachen spricht, bin ich gerne auf diese Weise in Kontakt mit anderen Kulturen.
Literatur, bildende Kunst (mein Mann ist Bildhauer) und Reiten sind meine Lieblingsbeschäftigungen.
