Allawah Cottage is a sunny, clean, cosy self contained 3 bedroom cottage right in the hub of things in vibrant Newtown, it sits opposite a beautiful park and is only a short walk to Sydney Uni and RPA. Small, well behaved dog/s welcome. FREE wifi.

Judith made our check in very easy and informed us where the best places to park our cars as only 2 hour parking out the front. Very close to King Street(Main Street) which has loads of restaurants cafes and nightclubs nearby. I didn't catch public transport however train station is an easy walk and buses around the corner. . House is very clean, tidy and comfortable.

Judith's place has a great location, and so much room, in a beautiful old home with lovely fireplace details etc. Has lots of helpful things like laundry powder, tea, vegimite, body wash etc. Judith called by to see if we needed anything and she was lovely! She said she had a high chair and port-a-cot (for those with little ones). Being an old house in Sydney it feels a bit damp (I forgot what Sydney is like!). The house is needing some more thorough cleaning- I'm not a neat freak but was disappointed. A few changes could also raise the caliber of this place eg. Softer sheets, replacing hairdryer that is grotty etc. If you have a car be aware of 2hr parking without permit. We bought some passes from Marickville Council.

A wonderful location and secure little locale. Close to park and lots of restaurants and stores. Ideal for exploring Sydney by train. Judith was a wonderfully organised and welcoming host.

Absolutely the perfect location for us with a lovely park right in front. The house had everything we needed and Judith was a gracious host and made us feel very welcome. Newtown is just fabulous with everything you need just a few minutes walk away. We will definitely love to stay again.

I love Newtown and have lived here for many years so I know the area extremely well. I like to think of my guests as people who are visiting me and always try to be available for assistance.

Have met some really lovely people through Airbnb and hope to meet many more.

My aim is to provide accommodation that feels like a home away from home.
