My place is a lazy 5 min walk to the beach. Centrally located, a 10 min drive gets you anywhere on the Island! This upstairs garage apt is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, & pets (under 30 lbs with approval).
*Each child & animal is considered a guest, include them in the Adult guest count!
We know the Island well & provide a list of our favorite places to go and things to do. We also provide freshly ground coffee and Noosa Yogurt for breakfast.

L'alloggio

This is a quiet upstairs Garage apt that overlooks the 43rd street. Newly remodeled and freshly painted in May 2016.
It is supplied with bedding, bath towels, and a full compliment of dishes and cooking utensils. (Stove top and Microwave, no oven)
Guests are welcome to use the deck!
There are also a couple of foldout beach chairs and boogie boards for your use.

I WILL know if you haven't read the House Rules when you ask for or make a reservation. Please read them below to find out how.

1. VERY IMPORTANT - In order to get your booking approved, you will need to complete your Airbnb profile, upload a government ID to your Airbnb account as part of your Airbnb 4 verifications, and supply the first/last name of EVERY guest,

2. Children MUST be included in the adult guest count when booking.
(Airbnb seems to believe all children are ghosts or phantoms that have no impact at all on the facilities they are using) I have raised 7, yes that is SEVEN children to adulthood, I know what even the most angelic can do in no time.
Each extra guest is $25 per night after 2nd guest.

3. Pets MUST be included with the adult guest count when booking. (Airbnb seems to believe all pets are ghosts or phantoms that have no impact at all on the facilities they are using)
Also, pet waste is to be picked up immediately and disposed of in outdoor trashcan.

4. Vaping or smoking may be conducted on the deck, but NOT inside the home. If smoking or vaping of any material has been determined to have occurred in residence, the full security deposit will be required to remove smell.

5. Absolutely NO Unregistered guests should be allowed to stay overnight.
If during your stay, you have need for an additional guest to be registered, you may use Airbnb's system to request changes to reservation. Extra charges may apply. That DOES NOT assure that I will approve the last minute addition, in which case there would be no extra charge and they would need to find other lodging.

6. Any damage, extra cleaning, and/or losses to my home, room, bathroom, furniture, appliances, linens, towels, books, decorations, accessories, beach gear, etc will be the financial responsibility of the booked guest through their Airbnb security deposit.

7. No open flames or candle use on the property!

8. Do not hesitate to bring anything to my attention, or ask questions if you need anything. I want you to enjoy your stay on the Island as much as do living here.

9. Bugs are an issue in any tropical environment. Please keep things tidy and dispose of uneaten items promptly and properly to discourage their interest.
I do not allow broad applications or spraying of pesticides. I do use gel baits in the appropriate places throughout the property.

10. Security Cameras are on property to protect guests and the property itself. One monitors the steps coming up to the deck, the other monitors the front door. Tampering with the security cameras will result in immediate cancellation of your trip with the 100% backing of Airbnb.

11. Fisherman are welcome (I am one myself), but you will need to clean your fish offsite and store fillets in an iced cooler.
The house is not outfitted for the mess and smell associated with cleaning fish.

12. Last but not least,

Ron's place was as advertised. He was there to greet us when we arrived and was pleasant and informative. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the property and would definitely recommend a friend to stay here.

Loved Ron's spot. Very convenient and centrally located. The place was super clean and the stay was comfortable.

Ron greeted us as we arrived and invited us to park in the driveway. The apartment is simple and well-equipped. There were plenty of towels and sheets plus coffee and yummy yogurt in the fridge. The bed is very comfortable. Ron even loaned us beach chairs and boogie boards. The apartment is a walkable distance to the beach but you'll have to go a little bit west through the residential neighborhood to get a crosswalk across the busy seawall blvd. Ron also shared restaurant and activity tips and even invited us to use the desk to view the Sunday night fireworks show. He was available by text and email throughout our entire stay.

Ron's place is a nice getaway, and close to what's important. The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is about a five minute drive or 30 minute walk. Rob's place is in a nice neighborhood so we enjoyed the walk...the houses are interesting. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, things to do, etc within the same driving/walking distance. Ron is on top of communicating with you and is very proactive from start to finish. He's a nice, friendly guy as well. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Thanks Ron!

Great small one bedroom upstairs apartment, close enough to walk to the beach, unless you have a lot of stuff to carry. I really liked that Ron had 2 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards to use to take to the beach. Very short drive to the beach, and very close to several places to eat on Seawall Blvd. Area is well-lit at night if you need to walk a pet. No ice-maker, so might need to buy a bag of ice. Coffeemaker and coffee provided, but if you like cream and sugar, be sure to bring that. I loved being able to relax on the couch unlike a hotel, where there is usually just a bed and maybe a hard, uncomfortable chair. TV has accessibility to Netflix, and I believe Amazon Prime video if you have accounts. Wi-fi is also available. I didn't cook, but if I had planned to, it could have been done, as there is a stove top with pots, and silverware provided, but no oven. Microwave provided. Window unit A/C cools the place down well. I brought my dog with me, and we both had a great time!

I love being near the water and all of the things associated with it.
Walking on the beach, fishing, surfing, crabbing, boating, etc!
