To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect coming from Orlando but I must admit I was quite surprised with the place. The pictures do not to the place justice at all. The ceilings were very high. Bathroom is nice. Bedroom was great, love the living room set up. TV is great.
The street was quite and felt much like a tightly knit street & community of people. I didn't interact with many people, just a few at the local stores, everyone was fine. The employees at all the local stores and Deli's were nice, something you can't even say about customer service in Orlando. Even when venturing into other parts of Brooklyn & Manhattan, the customer service was always very chill and friendly.
Their communication was good and much appreciated. I ventured in the basement, it was unlocked. I probably shouldn't have been down there but I'm 25. I proceeded to lock some of belongings down there. I called, they were there fairly quickly to allow me to get my stuff back. The basement was very nice as well.
The only gripe with the place is that the kitchen, which is a very nice kitchen but it smell awful. I don't know what it was but it smelled really bad. My girlfriends mom came over and cooked a crab dinner, she noticed it as well. My friend I hadn't seen in 10 years visiting from uptown Manhattan noticed the smell as well, so its very much not a me thing.
The place I gave it a 4, only because I don't want that smell to stay forever because I would love to come back and recommend the place to friends and family. The place is really a 5 star stay.
Thanks for having me during my time in Brooklyn.
