Traveling to the property is best done with a sense of adventure, experience driving off road, and a love for the outdoors. When Lindsay called me I clicked the "Sorry, I can't talk now." option on my iPhone when Lindsay called because I was speaking with someone in person. I messaged her two minutes later on Airbnb letting her know I will call her in 10 minutes as well as offering her specific details to help her figure out where she was lost at. I then called as I said and stayed on the phone helping her get to the property. I gave her detailed directions almost every 50 feet to her camp site. Regarding the pond, there are people who enjoy swimming in it, myself included, and others who prefer swimming pools. Or just kayaking in it. I think the pond is clean. It is a pond though and there is fish and algae. Each person's level of comfort may vary. Lindsay called me asking for bug repellent. I wish I had some to offer her. Perhaps she would have enjoyed her stay. The pond is not infested with mosquitoes. We treat the water so they can't grow. She happened to arrive during golden hour when they are out the most. Mosquitoes are a natural part of forests and camping. If you come prepared, bring bug spray, and wear a long sleeve shirts/pants during golden hour then I think you will be okay and enjoy your stay.
