Granite Creek Ranch is close to two National Parks - 2 hrs 15 mins from Yellowstone, 1 hr 15 mins from Grand Tetons. 1 hr from Jackson Hole.

You’ll love Granite Creek Ranch because of the coziness, the views, the people, the peaceful and quiet area, wildlife and the ranching scene. The Ranch is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families.

Lo spazio
This is 1 of 4 cabins on Granite Creek Ranch. The Corral Cabin has a queen bed and bunk bed with a twin bed on top and full size bed on bottom. The cabin has a small refrigerator. The community kitchenette also has a refrigerator where guests can store additional food items. This cabin has a nice over-hang porch with a sitting bench. The ranch yard has shared lawn chairs, picnic tables, hammocks and a deck with benches and chairs.

Accesso per gli ospiti
Guests have access to the lake, fishing, canoeing, and hiking all over my property of 4,000 acres of scenic mountainous ground. Guests can mountain bike as well.

*We offer guided horseback riding at a discount to our airbnb guests*. Trailrides are $35/hour/person. Children 7 years and older may participate in the horse riding. We can also do hand-led rides for children ages 2 to 7. These are $30/child/one-half hour.

*We offer these activities Monday through Saturday at nine or ten am. Other times on these days can be arranged with enough notice. We do not do horse rides on Sundays. Please inquire ahead of time if you are interested. Closed-toe shoes and long pants must be worn.

Canoeing and fishing on our lake are free. You do not need a license to fish on our private pond. No fishing poles are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Life jackets must be worn and are provided. Waivers must be signed prior to participating in any horse riding or water activities. These are located in the binder in your cabin.

*There is a community kitchenette with a walkout deck. This kitchenette is shared between guests from all of our cabins. We have a simple self-serve breakfast: bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. There is a campfire area where guests can build a fire and cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows. Hot-dog roasting sticks are available. A propane grill and a propane griddle on the walkout deck are available for cooking. There are some basic cooking pots, pans, and utensils, as well as grilling necessities. There is a double hot plate for cooking and a small toaster oven.

Altre cose da tenere a mente
*The corral cabin is located right next to the corral where our horses are kept during the day. You may pet the horses from behind the gates and fences. Please do not go in the corral for your own safety.

There closest grocery store is 35 miles away. Please be aware of this. The small town of Swan Valley, 8 miles East of the ranch, has two gas stations with some food items. Swan Valley also has two restaurants

*Verizon cellular service works best at the ranch. Other cellular service providers usually do not work at the ranch base*. Service from most other companies can be accessed at the highway two miles away.

*There are no laundromat facilities on-site. There is a coin-operated laundromat 20 miles West of the ranch in a town called Ririe.

*Even when hot during the day, we are in the mountains and it can get quite chilly at night. There are extra blankets in the drawers in the cabins. There is also an electric heater. Sitting around the warm campfire at night actually makes these cooler nights enjoyable! We have camping chairs and benches, plenty of room to sit and relax! We provide hot-dog roasting sticks, so it is also fun to cook hot-dogs or s'mores. Many of our guests say they especially enjoy this part of the stay!

*We have a NO PET POLICY. We have some dogs as well as barn kittens who love attention. However, please don't let them in the cabin or other buildings.

*Some gps systems can take you a few miles away. The best way to ensure you are at the right spot is to look for mile marker 368. Our road entrance is within a couple hundred feet of it. There is a small typical green street sign that says GRANITE CRK. Our ranch is two miles in on this gravel road. You will pass Aspen Hills Retreat on your left as you drive in. Keep driving past this another 1.5 miles. The road dead ends at our ranch so you can't miss it. In a heavy rain it can be muddy; drive slowly and carefully and you should be fine. Your cabin is the north most cabin, above the door it has a sign, "CORRAL CABIN". There is a place for you to park and unload your luggage right by the cabin.

Our cabins are fed with water from a natural spring by gravity flow. Our water pressure may be low at times if many people are showering and bathing at the same time.

I'm owner and manager of Granite Creek Ranch, a 4th generation cattle ranch where I also grow alfalfa, barley and wheat. I love being able to work outdoors and I enjoy creating a place where others can also come and enjoy the scenery, peacefulness and mountain fresh air. I like learning about different cultures and history as well as learning new skills and ways of doing things.

Durante il tuo soggiorno
We try very hard to greet you when you arrive. If we are not available when you arrive, your cabin is located in front of and to the right of the red and white ranch house. It is the cabin closest to the corral. Please make yourself comfortable in your cabin and feel free to walk around the premise. The kitchenette open 24 hours a day and located to the left of the ranch house up on a small hill. We will be 'around the ranch' throughout your stay. We are a working ranch and don't always have a lot of time to visit with you, although we would like to do so! There is a binder in each cabin sharing our history of the ranch, and information about "things to know". We are always available by messaging for any of your needs or questions.
