This condo is 650 sqft and efficiently laid out, on the third floor of the Grande Rockies Resort. It is ideal for one person or any couple looking for a modern place to hang their hat while adventuring in Rockies.

The stylish unit comes equipped with full kitchen, plush Vera Wang king bed, ample closet space, modern decor, and Italian steam shower.

Located within walking distance to shopping/supplies, amenities include: pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, gym, bar and acclaimed restaurant.


The condo is meticulously cleaned after each guest's departure and fully equipped/stocked including:
-stacked washer/dryer along with detergent and dryer sheets
-full kitchen including a modern dishwasher & microwave
-cookery, utensils, glasses & mugs
-coffee/tea, cream & sugar as well as some cold welcome beverages
-hand towels, bath towels, face cloths and pool towels
-italian steam shower, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, vanity light
-comfy king mattress with triple sheeting
-luggage rack, safe with electronic lock, 35 movie mini-library, two blu-ray players/flat screen televisions, iPod charging dock/alarm clock & iron/ironing board
-natural gas fireplace/bbq
-large private patio with mountain views and 20 ft vaulted ceiling; table and two chairs
-leather couch, desk, and two cozy chairs
-November 2016: Upgraded high-speed internet; unshared and specific to rental unit.

Accesso ospiti

The unit is fully enclosed and private on the third floor of a condo/hotel building. Typically we meet guests in the lobby and escort them to the unit however we also have a self check-in protocol if preferred or more convenient. Guests are welcome to use the gym, pool/hot tub and underground parkade.

Interazione con gli ospiti

At least one of us is available at all times as we live just across the hall. Our cell phone numbers are also in the unit so we are just a text/call/knock away. We will give you complete privacy and space, but are nearby if you need anything:)

Really clean and very well equipped apartment in Canmore. Convenient 20 minute drive to Banff and other local attractions without having to deal with the heavy tourist traffic. Joel & Heidi were great in making sure our stay was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to visit the Banff area.

My boyfriend and I loved our experience staying at Joel & Heidi's place in Canmore as part of a spring ski trip. The location was convenient: near a few great restaurants/coffee shops + grocery, just a short drive/walk to the little downtown, and close to Hwy 1 for driving to Banff. The Canmore downtown had a nice local feel, less touristy than Banff. The unit felt similar to a hotel suite with a great kitchen and lots of closet space. We loved the steam shower and took advantage of the DVD library. Joel and Heidi thought of lots of details like coffee, a few cold drinks, toiletries, etc. Joel was also really helpful when we checked in, and then later when we were having trouble getting the DVD player to work. Parking in the on-site parkade got tricky from time to time since many spots are reserved by other units. But we always found something. Overall it was a great experience and value, and we'd stay again for sure!

The most hotel-like b-n-b I've ever stayed at. As described, neat clean and everything I needed for a home base for a few days. Great steam shower. No direct sun on the balcony and faces a rather noisy parking lot. The view is of the condos across the parking lot. Easy walk to Main Street once I figured out where to cross the train track.

Thank-you Nikki for your feedback. The condo is in a hotel/condo complex, as described in the listing. The hotel aspect allows guest to enjoy amenities seldom seen in condos (restaurant, bar, gym and swimming pool, indoor/outdoor hot-tub). The condo does not receive direct sunlight this time of year and although faces the Georgetown Inn across the parking lot, boasts two amazing mountain views to the left and right. I apologize for the noise from the parking lot however that is not the norm as Spring break is in full effect. Thank-you for taking the time to write your review.

Bonjour, Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans le condo de Joel et Heidi. Bien qu'il soit situé tout près de l'autoroute, on ne l'entend pas du tout et on ne la voit pas non plus: c'est donc l'idéal puisque vous avez un accès très rapide à l'autoroute qui vous mène aux montagnes ! (20 minutes de Sunshine, 35-40 de Lake Louise et 2h15 de Kicking Horse). Le condo est bien équipé. Joel a créé un super petit livre qui vous donne toute l'information sur le condo, recommandations sur les restos et autres autour, etc. Si vous planifiez vous faire des lunchs: amenez vos tuppwerware ou ziplock car le condo n'en a pas. Quant aux commentaires sur la douche: très bien. Cependant en raison de mauvaises expériences de certains visiteurs, les hôtes ont du couper certains jets. La douche demeure agréable toutefois. Nous vous recommandons définitivement ce condo. Enjoy!

Staying with Joel was absolutely perfect. He picked me and my friend up from the airport shuttle drop-off point and pointed out great places to go within walking distance of the rental. He was quickly available via text and made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself is gorgeous: granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, wood floors, a wonderfully comfortable Queen bed, a crazy awesome Italian shower, and a not too shabby DVD collection to top it off. I would definitely recommend Joel and the rental. If I plan another trip up, I'll be staying here again.
