I was really very pleased with my stay of three weeks. The pictures are accurate, and it really is a lovely and comfortable flat in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. All amenities you would need are provided for in the flat when you arrive - even umbrellas and slippers, which indicated to me a nice touch and good attention to small details.
I used to live in Krakow and know the city very well. The flat is very well located, less than a five minute walk to the nearest tram stop, with a number of direct trams to get you wherever you need to be. One tram takes you directly to the main rail and bus stations/Galeria Krakowska. Another takes you directly to Kazimierz and Podgorze. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Main Square. A cab ride from the Old Town costsabout 12 PLN, or around 4 EUR.
I was also very happy with the location regarding food shopping - a five minute walk away is an open air market with a lot of options for fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also a number of grocery stores, supermarkets, and specialty shops - bakery, delicatessen etc. - all within five minute walk of the flat.
Malgorzata, the owner of the flat, was super helpful, both in the lead-up to and upon arrival. She was very quick to respond to my questions. She met me as soon as I arrived to the flat to hand me the keys and to show me the flat and all its amenities. She would check-in on her own by email to see how things were going and if there was anything more she could do to make my stay more pleasant. I was very happy with the logistical help she provided when handing over the keys upon my departure with a very early 6am flight. Throughout my stay, I very much appreciated all her efforts to help make my stay even more comfortable.
The flat is good value for its appearance, amenities, and location. I would definitely stay here again my next time visiting Krakow.
