Descrizione

Guests will have the full use of a 26' Travel Trailer that has one queen sized bed. The dinette and sofa can be made into beds for children. Farm Fresh eggs are available each morning, as well as coffee, tea, cereal and fruit.

Centrally located between Greenwood & Grand Forks, with easy access to Jewel Lake, Wilgress Lake, Phoenix Ski hill etc.

The 10 acre property backs on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by wooded crown land.

Suitable for a single person, couple, or small family.

The 26' Travel Trailer is yours to use while you stay. It has both A/C and heating to keep you comfortable. The kitchen has a small fridge and freezer and a 3 burner gas range with oven. The bathroom has a small tub and shower, but typical to a travel trailer the hot water tank is small. A TV and DVD player and movies are provided. It comes fully stocked, including bedding, towels, a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes and pots and pans. If you need something we haven't already provided, just let us know and we will do what we can to assist you. The space is suitable for a single person, couple or couple with kids. There is one queen sized bed in the bedroom, plus the dinette and sofa convert to small beds suitable for children or adults 5'3" or shorter. We welcome your pets, to a maximum of 2 due to space restrictions.

Outside the property is a fire pit for your personal use (dependant on fire restrictions). Limited amounts of firewood will also be provided.

We provide the fixings for breakfast while you stay, including coffee, tea, fruit, bread, cereal and eggs. We also provide basic condiments, sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup, mustard, relish, milk and cream. All you need to bring are your cooking skills and bacon!

There is no cell service on the property making this the perfect place if you want to go "off the grid" for a few days. Wifi is available but due to limited data availability we ask that our guests do not use any streaming services while they stay with us.

We have a small hobby farm with Chickens and Ducks that roam the property during the day. We also have 2 young Labs that spend a lot of time playing outside. Please let us know ahead of time if this is a problem and we will keep them away during your stay.

The 10 acre property backs right on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by crown land, making it a perfect place for hiking or biking. We have a seasonal creek and pond on the property with pathways cut into the field for you to enjoy.

Guests are welcome to roam the property while they are staying. We ask that they do not enter the buildings on the property including the house, cabin, greenhouse, workshop and chicken coop.

We work from home and are outside for the majority of the day. We are available if you need anything, but if you want privacy we are happy to leave you alone.

You need to have a car or be willing to ride a bike for very long distances in order to get anywhere, we are not near any public transit. We are 25 km (highway driving all the way) from the nearest grocery store or gas station.

There is no cell service or cable available at Brown Acres. The trailer is off the grid in almost every sense of the word. However, a phone is available for making calls and limited wifi is also available.

Our stay was very good. Sabrina left us homemade treats which was very tasty. The trailer was cozy and well equipped. This was our first Airbnb experience and will definitely do this again on our next trip.

Our stay was awesome! Sabrina and family are very welcoming. The trailer is kept very neat and clean. There are 2 adorable labs on their farm. Our lab puppy enjoyed playing with them at their farm. Thanks Sabrina for hosting for us, we would love to come back again.

The RV was as described, clean, and smelled nice! Being on the farm was great and the area was quiet. The hosts were quite thoughtful - there were helpful notes all over the RV since it was our first time in an RV and it's the little touches that accentuated our stay (even though we forgot the mosquito spray they left a can there for us to use!). The wifi was good enough for e-mail and instant messaging. The DVD selection was quite good, something for everyone. This is definitely our first choice if we're staying in the area. One of the hidden gems in this place you can only see when the sun goes down. Light up a fire in the fire pit and look up, the sky is so dark you'll see stars you won't see in the city. So beautiful!

Everything was set up nicely. There was fruit, cereal, coffee and condiments. It was very comfortable. Even firewood for the fire pit! We enjoyed the view and playing with the dogs. Very friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.
