Come and stay this large studio flat in trendy Bermondsey.
My flat is located in the heart of ever evolving Bermondsey, with its thriving restaurant, bar and club scene, art galleries, design studios and boutique shops. A short distance from the City, the Design Museum, Borough Market, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge, it is ideally located to visit some of London's finest sights whilst staying in an up and coming neighbourhood. If you seek Tower Bridge my flat is only moments away.
It is ideally situated for the City, West End and Canary Wharf so makes a great base for holidays and weekend breaks, or as a pied-à-terre for those visiting or working in London's business districts.

The concept behind my Flat is "Space Saving".
During the day you have the comfort of a large living space, with a sofa, coffee table and TV.
And when the night comes and you decide to go to bed, just fold down the wall-mounted bed; You are now in a bedroom, ready to have a good night sleep, in a proper bed!

Light and large studio flat (30m2/376. ft.) on the 3rd floor( No Lift). You don't share the flat with anyone; you are totally independent! Completely refurbished, the studio accommodates two people comfortably, and up to 4 people.
The sofa bed can be made up as one double size bed and the wall bed( Small double) give extra space to the flat when in upright position.
The bathroom is equipped with a Shower and towels are provided.
Good size fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, microwave oven, gas hob, fridge and washing machine. There's a flat screen TV, phone line and free Wi-Fi.

In addition to the above, the studio has an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and a hoover.

You have lots of choice when it comes to places to eat nearby, from “Manze's", London's oldest surviving eel and pie shop, to the famous “Pont de la Tour" with its amazing views of the river and Tower Bridge. You'll find the award winning Italian restaurant, “Zucca", and acclaimed tapas bar, “Jose", on fashionable Bermondsey Street as well as some other great restaurants, cafes and pubs. On the other hand, if you prefer to eat at home but are too tired to cook, there's a fish and chip, Chinese and Indian take away few block away.
If you feel like catering for yourself, Borough Market, known as “London's larder", is in walking distance and comes to life from Thursday to Sunday. Also Maltby market, a quiet bubble of gastronomic intent is swelling under the railway arches in Bermondsey. This unlikely south-east London backwater quickly became a popular destination for a Saturday morning to early afternoon (9am-2pm-ish) wander with a bit of grocery shopping along the way. Find out about the gastronomic delights that wait beneath the arches. Here you can find everything from the most delicious British cheeses to fresh fish and game. Other great places to shop for food nearby include the markets on Bermondsey Square, Maltby Street and Spa Terminus which are held on Saturday mornings, all three of which are just a 5 minute walk away. If all that shopping has made you thirsty, you can stop off for a glass or two of natural wine at “40 Maltby Street" and enjoy some delicious seasonal food at the same time. They also sell very reasonably priced bottles to take away.

Take a stroll along the banks of the Thames to Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, or visit White Cube on Bermondsey Street, the biggest private contemporary art space in Europe. Find out how it feels to look down on London from the tallest building in Europe, The Shard, which has recently opened to the public and is a short walk away at London Bridge.
If you are after some traditional sight-seeing, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are close by (5 min walk), or take a boat trip down the Thames to historic Greenwich or upstream to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
If you want to relax in the park, you have Bermondsey Spa Garden, lovely little park just few block from the house.

Buses stop every few minutes; bus stop is 2min walk from the flat.
The Number 1 and 188 takes you to the West End and its theatres and shops in 30 minutes. It also runs every 30 minutes throughout the night.
The 78 goes to Shoreditch and the City via Tower Bridge (10 minutes) and Liverpool Street station (20 minutes).
Bermondsey underground station is on the Jubilee line and is a 10-minute walk away. It's just two stops to the business district of Canary Wharf, four stops to Westminster and six stops to Bond Street which can be reached door to door from the house in about 30 minutes.
Bermondsey Station is only 30min away from London City Airport( LCY).

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Our stay was really satisfying, even if we couldn't meet Nabs until the day of our departure because of his work. In the apt there was all we needed, and the market was very close! The district was peaceful and beautiful, and mostly close to Tower bridge (the first day we walked from Tower bridge to Piccadilly and Oxford st. without any transports!) In the evening we always go back late, but fortunatelly there were some cheap chinese, indian and other take away very close to the apt! London is wonderful, i will absolutelly come back there!

Me and my friend stayed here in the end of september, the studio is comfortable and really well connected. It was all as described on the website, all the stuff you'll find inside the flat is perfectly working. It's not huge but if you are two and want to be really near the center of the city this is a really good solution, it take a ten minutes walk from Bermondsey (Jubilee Line, zone 2). We didn't actually meet Nabs but we stayed in contact with him during our staying because he wanted to be sure everything was ok (and it was). All in all I'm really glad we ended up here and I will consider this place again next time I'll go to London!

Absolutely HORRIBLE. We kept in touch with Nabs until the day before our trip, and after a long flight and commute from the airport, we opened the door to a filthy, dirty and smelly room. We looked around wondering what was going on... Old mail piled up on the floor, the fridge was not working, but had what seemed like rotten meat and rotten milk (which stank up the room in a matter of seconds). The bathroom was out of order, the shower was moldy, half used bottles of water a bit everywhere, the cute little pillows we saw in his promo pic are faded and dusty. Even the windows were dirty! We were forced to stay in the stenchy room to connect to wi-fi to contact Nabs. He was quick to respond but he was ''out of town"... He claimed his cleaning personnel said they cleaned the room... but honestly, when the mail isn't picked up and the toilet isn't working, it's hard to believe the owner was not aware... An air bnb representative provided us with alternatives that were either too far, check in the next day or just not to our liking. How could we trust a picture of a clean room??? The reason we booked months in advance is because we trusted that the price was fair for the room. We were then left to fend for ourselves and look for a hotel twice the amount we paid for and not to mention take a taxi there, since we spent our entire day trying to find a solution. We were eventually fully refunded for the room, but nothing can replace our discomfort and disappointment. Not to mention our time, new hotel fees and transportation.

Dear Veronica, So far 99% of my customer enjoyed their stay in my place ( location, price, value for money, communication...), and I always received good reviews. I always consider my guest as the most important aspect of the business and I always make sure to meet and exceed his/her expectations at all time. Unfortunately, on this occasion, while I was away, I was let down by my cleaner who was enable to deliver; untidy place and fridge switched off by mistake, that what cause the bad smell. I am really sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your experience. After you decided to cancel the reservation, I was happy to offer you a FULL refund for your stay. The problem with the cleaner has now been solved and she will be replaced with a more competent cleaner and the flat is tidy and fresh again. Thank you for your valuable comment.

Logement très bien situé ( bus et métro à proximité) et au calme mais dans un état de propreté inacceptable. Rangements inutilisables car non vidés. A recommander lorsque le problème de propreté sera résolu.
