We had a truly amazing sailing trip!
Michael helped us getting away by telling us how the boat works (where is what and how it works etc) and he was really helpful in providing us good suggestions in where to go and where to stay overnight. He also texted us the latest weather forecast and other useful things. This was really helpful! Additionally, Michael is a very friendly person and we had a warm welcome. After the trip he brought some drinks to share the latest "tall stories". A big thanks to you Michael!
The boat is a charming "camping boat": Beds are comfortable and also suitable for tall people, and there is plenty of storage space for food and luggage. Sailing against the wind (by "tacking") was a bit slow (we were used to a different boat), but all other sailing reaches were fine and comfortable. The cooking equipment was good and clean, drinking water provided. The electrical things were all in a good shape, including boat lighting. The powerful motor worked good and sails were in good shape. It is handy that the keel can be lifted so beautiful areas with less depth can be reached.
What we did: We sailed around Orust in 4 days (this was only possible due to the good wind). The nature and sailing atmosphere is unbeaten by anything we know. Fjords, big lakes and nice villages along the way. We camped along the way, once in a harbour, twice on islands. One does need sailing experience and navigation skills. GPS, detailed water maps and even fishing rod were provided.
We definitely recommend this to people that are looking for a great sailing adventure in Swedish nature.
