The apartment was very modern by Cuba standards - hot water, good water pressure, flat screen TV. Definitely worth it! It is a little far from Old Havana but if you prefer modern comforts - it is worth it. Breakfast was delicious at 7 CUC and the complimentary mojito upon arrival was a nice touch!

I cannot express how great this place is! It is so clean... much cleaner than the hotels. There is 24/7 assistance; if you need something to eat, drink, music or even just some company. At first this freaked us out a bit (having someone always there); but really enjoyed the company and the assistance. The butler Hośe knows English very well so speaking to him was easy but everyone else was very nice as well. I got ill the last night I was there and the owners wife was there for me without hesitation. Her breakfast was great as well; this really is the best option since getting breakfast is hard there unless it's at a hotel. Their mohito was great as well!!! We also had the cleaning lady do my laundry and it was very clean and the whites were so white! The internet connect was good; at times it did fall but that's just how it is there.

This review is a MUST READ! Travel date 5/18 THERES NO WIFI OR INTERNET. Don't go in thinking that you will have access or limited access, there is none at Jovis place. They told us 3 days in the row it was due to the rain the first night but we didn't have any for the week we stayed there. It was 3 of us girls who just needed a place to rest our heads. We heard miramar was safe and better. It's not much safer then any other areas but still less populated with homeless people like old Havana. Jovis Bartenders were cool but because we were pretty girls they did get a little fresh (flirty/unprofessional) with us which was a little awkward after the second day. There's cameras throughout the house and they don't let people come over to the place. In terms of the food they cook you and the fridge being stocked I would suggest buying water bottles else where and not getting anything at their place. We got dinner once, drank two waters a day and only took 1 shot before the club one night. Our bill at the very end was $143, for Cuba is VERY expensive. She charged us about $60 for dinner and $10 a shot. The dinner she made us which I'm not sure as to how that calculated out since it was imitation shrimps, rice & beans. I definitely don't pay that much even in America. The house it self is always clean as listed so that was nice. But the cleaning lady threw away our stuff on several occasions (my cigar I bought, q-tips, make up). It came to the point I told her to stop cleaning our room. One occasion, we went a whole day without power for no apparent reason. Which was really inconvenient since we had showered and needed to blow dry our hair and use the lights. There's construction going on right outside the window and has been for awhile and it's a big project. so it will probably be going for the next few months or longer. The house is very close to most of all the night clubs so that was very convenient for going out. It's about 15min from Havana and cabs are about $10-$20 (don't pay more then $10) you can negotiate. But I would suggest the yellow taxis only. The older cars are unsafe. Doors fly open and they drive faster then you are comfortable with (no seat belts). When the hosts call you a cab it can take about 20-30min each time so either plan ahead or walk 3 blocks and find one yourself. I suggest eating at cha cha cha(seafood/chicken) & NAO(tamales/beef). Really great food at both of these places. Both in old Havana near the water. Lastly, we never actually met jovi. His wife was there for us the whole time. She was nice but doesn't really speak English but we managed to get by. They are...

The reality of this group is that They are not recommended !!!!!!!! My first evaluation of these clients was out of respect for women, but their stay in my house left much to be desired for their bad behavior, I will not live up to them criticizing them But the person who reads the rest of my evaluations will realize that this evaluation is not true. In my house if there is wifi and the staff that works is very professional, in fact all my guests are very happy and satisfied with their services. I can tell you that much of your stay in my house was under the excessive effect of alcohol to the point that they lost their belongings and blamed the cleaning staff for having misplaced them. The cameras that are in my house are to guarantee the security of the clients and are located in the common areas, It is not worth answering this comment when coming from this kind of person but I have no other option.

This is quite a secret. We stayed at Jovi's place for five nights. it is in a "changing neighborhood in Myramar. but, don't let the exterior fool you. The inside of the apartment is quite lovely and the staff is amazing. you can request breakfast, lunch and or dinner. there is always someone waiting for you when you get home. It is a little trek to the center of the city, but it is manageble. I highly recommend this listing.

This was my very first home I stayed at using this app and it couldn't have gone any better. The house host were very kind and welcoming. The home was very clean and super nice. Beds are extra big, plenty for 2 sharing a bed. Nice hot shower, full bar, laundry service etc... Would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Jovi's home was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked with drinks and food. He had a bartender there from 4pm to 7am to help us if needed or make drinks! Jovi's wife, Liana, was very helpful, made us delicious breakfasts, and even offered to cook us dinner one night! She was also helpful in arranging a taxi to take us a few different places and the airport on the last day of our trip. I would highly recommend this AirBnB. A few things to know before booking: 1. Liana and the bartenders didn't speak that much English, and we didn't speak that much Spanish, so communication was a bit difficult. We managed and still had a great time though. 2. Mirimar is not as close to Old Habana as we would have liked. Taxis cost about $15 each way. 3. The breakfast Liana made and the drinks stocked in the fridge were not free. The breakfast was $7 per person and had we spoke the language we might have realized that beforehand. But either way, the breakfast was delicious (eggs with ham and cheese, local fruits, smoothies, Cuba coffee).
