Owner can help with suggestions and directions, and she can teach some regional Thai cooking, but guests should be independent. She can help contact taxis and tuk-tuks, and suggest places to visit. She can also help arrange renting a motor scooter, which is a very common and practical mode of transport here, and can help you contact places like elephant camps or cooking schools.
