Welcome to our characterful 3 bed Victorian terraced house in central Weymouth. You'll find the beach and railway station a short walk away, and also shops, restaurants, theatre, charming inner harbour and cinema nearby.

Welcome to our characterful 3 bed Victorian terraced house in central Weymouth. You'll find the beach and railway station a short walk away, and also shops, restaurants, theatre, charming inner harbour and cinema nearby.

We request a minimum stay of seven nights for June, July & August (with a preferred check in on Saturdays) but we are open to enquiries.
For other times of the year, there's a minimum stay of two nights.

Perfect for couples, friends and family, our house is a lovely three storey Grade II listed mid terrace, with three bedrooms, lounge and dining room and a south facing courtyard garden. The loft has a king size bed, bedroom 2 is a twin room with two single beds, whilst bedroom 3 has a single bed (Laura Ashley Hastings Day Bed).

There is a cosy lounge with coffee table and TV/DVD player and a separate dining room with space to comfortably sit five people.
The downstairs family bathroom has a sink, Wc and a lovely free standing bath with a shower attachment.
The kitchen is well equipped and allows access to the rear courtyard garden. In the garden you'll find a garden table & chairs for al fresco dining.
The house has wooden floor boards throughout- slippers/ indoors shoes are recommended!

Check in is after 4pm on day of arrival.

Departure time is by 10am on day of departure.

We love our guests to have a great time at our house. If, during your stay, you have any questions, you can always give one of us a call.

Within moments you can be on the beach, in town, by the quayside... It is the perfect place from which to get out on foot and explore. Weymouth was voted the UK's Best Beach in 2017 and came within the top 10 beaches in Europe!

The town is a fabulous place in a beautiful part of the Dorset coast; the ideal place to relax on its sandy beach, explore its historic town centre and harbour, and the perfect base for a huge amount of activities for all. You can fish, sail, walk, cycle, play tennis or golf, go to the cinema, theatre and the Nothe Fort... the list goes on!

Weymouth has plenty of organised events through the year, offering something sporting or cultural depending on your tastes.

We'll provide plenty of info for you on a variety of local attractions within the welcome pack at the house.

Shops, restaurants, pubs, beach, PO, banks are all within a short walking distance. We have left a guide at the house as well as leaflets from the Tourist Information.

Parking along the street is restricted (one hour stay) and it is very narrow but there are car parks nearby which are free after 18:00.

You can purchase a weekly parking permit at the Swannery car park (follow signs for Long Stay Beach Car Park) middle ticket machine by cash (Please note - no change will be given, so you will need £38 in cash) or by using a debit/credit card. Weekly parking permits are valid for use on any seven consecutive days from the minute of purchase. For example, you buy your ticket at 10.37am on a Tuesday it will be valid until 10:37am the following Tuesday.

You can reach Dorchester, Portland & Chesil Beach in around 15 minutes by car, and all of Weymouth's attractions can be reached on foot from the house.

The local bus station & main railway station with direct trains to London is 300 meters away.

There is a guidebook at the house and we shall send you a message a few days before you arrive with useful information too.

The house is self catering. The nearest cornershop is a 2mins walk away. If you wish to stock up on route, there are a handful of large supermarkets (Morrisons / Sainsbury (home delivery service available) / Asda) as you drive into town.

In the kitchen, you will find a gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave oven, radio, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle & toaster. It is suitably stocked with utensils, plates etc located in cupboards and drawers.

The bathroom consists of a WC, basin and bath with shower hose attachment- pls see photo.

** Please remember to bring your own bath & hand towels. Slippers / indoor shoes are also recommended as the house has floorboards throughout.

Due to the steep staircase, young children and the elderly are advised to take care.

We request that stays are for 7 nights, Saturday-Saturday during June, July & August, and a minimum of 2 or 3 nights at other times. However, we are open to discuss alternative schedules.

Red Sky is a family home which we are happy to share with others. Please adhere to the following to keep things happy for everyone

- No smoking on the premises.

- No pets.

- No parties or events.

- Leave the place as you found it, tidy and put things away, especially in the kitchen.

- Double lock the front door, please.

- Only the stated number of booked guests may use the property. Please specify the number of guests (adults and children) staying when you make your booking request.
Maximum number of people at anytime - 5.

- Respect the neighbourhood.

- Things will and do get broken. Please let us know. The cost to replace items lost/ damaged/ broken can be claimed from your deposit.
