My place is close to The River Fowey, seconds walk from the Polruan Ferry. . You’ll love Honey Cottage its a great family friendly house where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility Polruan has to offer with the two village pubs, shop and beach all within easy walking distance. With WOW Views! My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and big groups.
Step inside through the hall into a very useful utility area ideal for storing walking boots, buckets and spades, wet suits etc. One of Honey's hidden gems is just off this area - a very spacious ground floor double bedroom, tastefully decorated, bright and airy with clever use of blinds, which is kept cosy with under floor heating and is complete with it's own en suite facilities.
On the 1st floor you will find two further bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin, along with a family bathroom featuring bath and separate shower and of course, the stairway leading to the final ace up honey's sleeve.
Climb the stairs to the top floor to a most beautiful open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Once more extremely well furnished and equipped, the rear of the floor is taken up with the modern kitchen, so well designed and easy to use cooking will never be a chore.
This top floor is dominated by the picture window looking out across West Street to the river with it's ever changing backdrop of yachts and boats. Beware, as what ever you are doing be it dining, cooking or simply lounging in the big comfy sofa you will find your eyes and attention drawn to some detail on the river until you find yourself just staring and smiling to yourself... you were warned.
Arrival and Key collection- You are welcome to collect your cottage keys from our office in Polruan. We are situated just across the road from the cottage, at 1 Fowey View. We are the cottage with the white stable door and grey railing outside. Keys are available from 4.00pm onwards
Once in the cottage... Its all yours!! Apart from one cupboard on the ground floor, where the owner keeps there bits and bots (The ultimate man cupboard)

We are based right in the heart of the village. Our office is open 9:30 - 5:30 ish (ferry dependent). You are more then welcome to pop in throughout your stay. Any questions you may have we are more then happy to answer... we will get the kettle on!

Positioned next door to the Russell Inn, one of the two pubs in the village. The two top level of the house are double glazed, the ground floor level still has the original single glazed shop front window so from the bottom bedroom you might hear some noise from next door if you are in bed before 11pm.
As the cottage is an upside down house with the kitchen of the top floor , with 3 levels there are quite a few steep (ish) steps to go up.
Honey Cottage is ideally situated right in the heart of the village, you are able to stop outside the cottage to unload your luggage only.
Parking in Polruan, there are 3 car parks in Polruan. The Quay carpark and the main St Saviours car park would be the 2 closest to the cottage about a 5 minute walk away. Both car parks are £25.00 for a weekly ticket or £5.00 per day. The quay carpark is a lot smaller with only about 11 spaces, so if you were to take your car out for the day you’re not always guaranteed that same space back. The main St Saviours car park is manned throughout the day with an overflow facility. Sadly you cannot pre book any spaces.
Higher up in the village there is a free car park roughly about a 15-20 minute walk from your cottage, which if you weren’t planning on using your car much, it could be a suitable option.
Guests top tip is to bring some extra cash with you as the main car park, and both ferries are cash only... The pubs do cash back and in the post office on the quay you are able to take cash out free of charge.
Breakages/Damages please let us know of any breakages or other damage occurring during your stay and make payment for them at the office before departure.
Smoking is not allowed in the cottages, please respect the owner's wishes on this.

Accommodation will be prepared according to the number of persons booked, as reserved prior to your stay, if you are expecting guests please inform the office. Properties are not allowed to sleep more than the stated number of persons in the brochure.
