I’m very surprised by Nicola’s review and I feel obligated to respond to it as it may give wrong and misleading information.
Nicola, the location and look of the flat is shown on the listing. The pictures there are from Airbnb professional photographer not mine and are made 5 years ago. Since then the guests room has been updated. Also 20 min journey with underground for the size of London is considered to be close to the centre. The transport links are excellent and detailed explained on the listing.
Regarding the issues you are mentioning, if anything happens I’m available all the time to help guest. I’m most of the time in the flat and it’s complete lies that you couldn’t speak with me. We saw each other in the flat few times face to face and you didn’t say anything. If you wanted to speak with me and I wasn’t in the flat at the moment you could have leave me a note or call.
There is hot water all the time and it’s sufficient not for 2 but for a lot of people as it’s heated straight away. I noticed that you spent quite a lot of time in the bathroom and definitely you did used the shower. The shower power is strong enough. If you had found difficulties showering and put the shower on you could have asked me and I would showed to you. All our guests didn’t have such a problem.
The fridge in the room was moved a little and this caused to make an unusual noise, I noticed that after you left, I closed the door properly and put it on it’s place and problem was solved.
I noticed that you turned the power off, so there wasn’t noice after that.
I’m sorry that you didn’t have a pleasant stay in our flat and I understand that everyone has a different domestic culture, but before frustrating yourself try first to speak with your host and I’m sure that in future some of the problems that may occur will be solved with an ease.
