The Flat is a modern refurbishment in the heart of the Georgian Quarter. Stylishly decorated with vintage modern furniture, cozy details and a small galley style kitchen. The lounge offers stunning views over Liverpool City Centre down to the Liver Buildings and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
The master bedroom sleeps 2 has an en suite bathroom with a shower. If you are interested in renting the entire flat please see my main listing entitled COZY HOME ON HOPE STREET. Directly below is Hope Street with loads of cafés and restaurants, while the gorgeous grounds of St. James' Gardens and Liverpool Cathedral are just steps beyond. We are just a very short walk from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the Everyman and Unity theatres, Blackburn House, the Philharmonic Pub and Dining Rooms, the London Carriage Works and the Hope Street Hotel.
Given this unique location, the flat is ideally situated to accommodate extra guests attending wedding at the Hope Street Hotel or Graduation Ceremonies for one of the many Universities in Liverpool.

The flat comes with only one visitor's parking pass for on street parking which will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. Upon request we provide guests with information including contact details (taxi firms, useful numbers), local things to see and do and places to visit that we would recommend.
We are warm and welcoming and can offer extensive insight into history and attractions of Liverpool and also it's creative scene.
However I may not always be around, in which case my equally lovely housekeeper, will be there on arrival to check you in and welcome you. Someone will always be available locally, by mobile phone throughout your stay to ensure you are comfortable.
What is on offer here- and could never be matched by the multitude of anonymous, commercial locations available - is a truly unique destination for cultural events in the heart this vibrant city.
Voted one of the Greatest Streets in Europe by the Academy of Urbanism, Hope Street, is a vibrant and bustling neighbourhood.
Situated at the heart of both the Georgian Quarter and the Cultural Quarter, there are tons of restaurants, bars and pubs, many entertainment venues, like the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the Everyman Theatre, the Unity Theatre, right on our doorstep. Blackburn House, The Black E, the Liverpool Cathedral, and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral are also nearby.
The offerings have grown so much since we lived here that GQ Magazine recently featured Hope Street in one of it's city guides in Oct 2015. Every place featured in the article is less than 500 metres from the flat. Airbnb won't let me link to it, but just search for Liverpool GQ Magazine and you will find it.
Un giro nei dintorni
Its a 10 minute walk to the City Centre and a 15 minute walk to/from Lime Street. Lots of buses stop very close and given it's central location, taxi's are cheap and plentiful.
Altre cose da evidenziare
There is currently wifi but no TV in the flat. There is the ability to connect devices to the stereo in the living room for streaming or playing music. Please be courteous to neighbours and other guests when doing so and never set the volume above 14.
The water heater is generous but it may need occasional boosting to accommodate large groups. We will show you how to do this but please be respectful and conservative.
The Flat is unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. The flat is located on the second floor with 4 flights of steps up to the front door from street-level.
The flat is home to a small, short-haired dog who sometimes lives on the property -joint custody with my ex-husband :-) The flat is vacuumed before each guest and fresh linens are places just hours before arrival, however if you are allergic to pets please use your best judgment, as I cannot be responsible for any allergy attacks.
Check-in between 17.00 thru 19.00 hrs. Check - out between 08.30 and 10.00 hrs.
Guests are free to come and go as they please on the condition their behaviour does not disturb or alarm others in the apartment block.
There are utensils and crockery for very basic cooking in the house, but there is such a fantastic array of restaurants within a 50 meter radius that cooking is not necessary at all. Given that the dining table is made of vintage rosewood (and most other pieces of vintage woods), you MUST use the heat-resistant place mats and coasters on every piece of furniture for protection. These are placed through out the flat and made readily available.
You must wash, dry and put away any crockery or cutlery immediately after use and leave the kitchen as found.
Guests must be considerate with use of bathrooms, particularly on weekday mornings. Other than boosting the water heater for hot water, please do not touch the electrical box in the boiler cupboard or any of the other settings on the storage heaters. In the winter please keep all doors closed to keep the main rooms warm.
Please DO NOT use the washing machine unattended. Only guests staying 7 days or more can use it but must mention this in advance to myself or my housekeeper so we can help with any problems. Guests staying longer than 7 days will receive one free wash load. For guest staying less than 7 days there will be a £3 fee per wash load and a £5 fee per dry load (up to 2 hours).
Guests younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any guest not mentioned at time of booking will not be allowed to stay.
No parties, no smoking and no pets allowed. Just general respect and cleanliness. Generally no shoes in the house :) They must be left by the front door.
Cancella fino a 7 giorni prima del viaggio e ricevi un rimborso del 50%, più i costi del servizio.

We are a couple of creative entrepreneurs currently based in Liverpool. Deena is an American exp-pat who practices yoga and tries to be vegetarian, though she love steak tacos :-) Steve is an Italian Swede who enjoys mountain biking and road cycling.
As hosts we are warm, laid back and welcoming. Unless we are busy with a deadline we love to have interactions with our guests.
As travelers we are very tidy and respectful and know how to be excellent house guests. Neither of us smoke but we do like to travel sometimes with Alfia, our small, well behaved Yorkie Jack Russell.
