Sitting pretty at the top of the tallest building in Cartagena's historic centre, this petite studio apartment will take your breath away with it's brilliant location and an unbeatable view from one of Cartagena's landmark buildings.
This flat is perfectly formed for a couple that wants to be in the thick of the best Cartagena has to offer.
This landmark building, designed by one of the most influential figures in Cartagena's rich architectural history, offers an unbeatable location for intrepid explorers.
There's no pool, this building was built in another era, but it does put you two blocks from the best bars, restaurants and clubs in Cartagena.
Location, location, location is the mantra. Throw into the mix a brilliant view, a comfortable bed, and close proximity to the office of This Is Cartagena, the company I created to take care of visitors to the city and you have the ideal mix of ingredients for visitors in search of the perfect stay in Cartagena.
This iconic building might not look like much from the outside but the interior charms - perpetual atrium, wood panelled walls and geometric tiles have lured some of Cartagena's coolest citizens into the hip block.
The building went up in 1948 so it's got plenty of character of its own.
The apartment is all yours.
You won't be sharing it with anyone else.
Altre cose da evidenziare
- I will leave the key downstairs for you with the porter, so feel free to arrive at any time you like within the check-in time.
- There's not hot water at this property. Not many places in Cartagena have hot water because it's so hot outside most people live comfortably without it. If you can't live without hot water you should book elsewhere.
- It has air conditioning. :)
Please treat the apartment with care and respect.
Smoking is NOT alowed in the apartment.
Please turn the lights, fans and air conditioning off when you go out and when you leave.
No drugs, or prostitution activity alowed in the apartment. We reject sexual tourism.
No party animals or loud music alowed. Respect the neighbours.
No extra people allowed in the apartment. Only the people that booked the place.
Make sure the balcony doors are closed and secured to avoid any damage to the black out blinds when they are lowered.
Don't throw paper down the toilet, it will block.
Treat the porters as your friends. Be nice to them and they will look after you. The building is pretty relaxed.
I am often staying in the building. I love being close to my office which is one block from the apartment.
I want you to feel welcome in the city, that's my job, so feel free to reach out to me whenever you want.
The porters downstairs are also very friendly and can help with anything when I am not around.
If I am traveling there will always be someone from my team looking out for you.
I am a travel writer for the likes of Wallpaper* City Guides and the Wall Street Journal. Four years ago I set up my own guide for Cartagena - This Is Cartagena - which has been keeping me at home a little more than in the past.
I love travel and getting paid to visit new places. Love a little luxury when I am on the road but the most important thing for me is to get to really know somewhere through its people.
When I am on the road it's great to meet new people that really help get under the skin of the city. When I have guests I love doing re-paying the generosity of others. Going the extra mile to ensure someone gets to know my city is good business and good karma.
