I absolutely recommend this place, it was way better and more affordable than staying at a hotel.
First and foremost, the host Ahmad and his wife are fantastic people and were extremely pleasant.
Absolutely great. 10 minute drive from downtown, St. Joseph, etc. There is even a option for a parking space!! In case you haven't been to Montreal, this is a big deal. St Catherine is also very close if you like shopping.
2) Bed, furniture, and appliances
The place is great. The pictures show this so I won't go into detail but I will say that the bed was very comfortable and that there's cable in case you wanna watch TV. The place is roomy and comfy. The closets are empty like a hotel so you can leave your stuff in it, it was very convenient.
Look at the picture. In case you haven't used one of these before, it is as fun as it looks. Trust me.
I didn't actually expect the "breakfast" part of "bed and breakfast" but there it was! Mona (Ahmad's wife) had baked fresh muffins, biscotti, and cake, and there was milk and bread in the fridge. Coffee, tea, snacks, the whole deal. There were even eggs that we cooked on the stove using the available frying pan. I never lacked anything. Got up, had breakfast, relaxed on the couch and had my coffee, then went out to enjoy Montreal.
There is no doubt I will be back on my next trip to Montreal!
