Up to 4 people can stay comfortable. Maximum 6 people can stay here.
It is equipped with free Wifi, hair dryer, towels and microwave, dishes and kettle pot in the kitchen.
It also has comfortable furniture and practical house-hold goods.
Other than that, it has a table and chairs for eating meals and working on a laptop and 2 other chairs.
Port faces a typical Osaka shopping arcade. It is a busy place only in the daytime, so it can get rather noisy. As well, the arcade broadcasts music (children songs and pop songs) from 10AM till 6PM. The volume is not excessive, but some people find it annoying.
In addition, while we clean the room and rest of PORT, this building is old and shows signs of wear. We are working to replace and repair, but you should expect to find evidence of PORT’s history.
If you prefer a more modern and tidy room, I have another airbnb listing called 'TETRA'.
The top floor is for the your access.
Other guests stay in 1st 3rd floor. In addition there is a small balcony on the top floor. Only you can access from the room KAMOME.

I'm living in PORT. If you have any problem, me and manager can take care of it.
PORT is facing a common shopping street. Around this area is located an old residential area. In the past, this area flourished as a port.
Therefore, there were a lot of ironworks and shipyards.
After demolishing those buildings, Universal Studio Japan was built on a part of the land. USJ is 2 stops from Nishikujo Station (JR Loopline).
In recent years, this area has gradually been reformed by people renovating old houses into cafes, live music spaces, galleries, and artists’ studios.
I have made a local map introducing this area with my friends.
The map introduces breakfast cafes, a nice coffee shop, a vegetarian curry shop, a natural yeast bread shop and an Italian restaurant. In addition the map includes traditional Japanese standing bars and modern pubs.
Besides restaurants, there are parks, second-hand shops, a Kimono rental shop (reservation required), public baths 'Sento' and a modern hot spring.
Please check things out and take a walk in this area!
Un giro nei dintorni
The nearest station is Chidoribashi station (Hanshin Line).
From KIX to Nishikujo(西九条) by JR direct express train (I'd recommend this line)
At Nishikujo station, change to Hanshin rail way, just 1stop to Chidoribashi station by the train.
From Chidoribashi station(Hanshin Line) it is 3min to PORT on foot.
From Nishikujo station it is 20min to PORT on foot.
*Nishikujo station has 2 different Train Lines: JR Loop Line Nishikujo and Hanshin Line Nishikujo. Hanshin Line is convenient for getting to Namba, Kobe and Nara areas.
If you want to go to Umeda or Osaka station, you can also take a bus: No. 56 or 59.

Thank you for checking my place 'TETRA'.
I have been letting my friends and friends of friends stay in my vacant rooms for the last 2 years. Now, I want to start welcoming people to use a room through AirBnB.
This is the first try for me to welcome guests from the public. I hope you can stay here comfortably and enjoy Osaka.
I also like taking trips. I have traveled to a lot of countries of course in Japan.
When I travel to foreign countries, I often stay at small hostels and look around local towns based on my mood.
I run a cafe, it called PORT near by accommodation with my friend.
If you have interest, please ask me and come to cafe.
