Pero's place was ideal for our 5 night stay in Dubrovnik and we really enjoyed our holiday there. The apartment is new and located on the 2nd floor, with a great view of the harbor and bridge from the entry way. It a nicely decorated and very clean, with all the necessary amenities (washer and rack). It is quite a bit larger than what we could see from the photos, with a completely separate bedroom (containing a comfortable king bed), bathroom, and then the kitchen and living room (where there was a pull out bed) so it fit the 3 of us quite nicely. There were also two balconies (one in each room) so there was a lot of natural light in the apartment.
While quite a distance from in Old Town (40 minute walk, though we didn't do this), Pero's place is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was very convenient to a lovely promenade with a number of restaurants (we ate there 3 times, trying different restaurants, for breakfast and dinner). There is also a beach about 10-15 minutes walking distance away, with free toilets and showers. Also nearby is a cafe, bakery, and markets, which is very convenient. There is a bus stop (#6) where you can catch a bus into Old Town close to the apartment. Since the bus fare is about 15 kuna each (one way), we chose to use Uber for three of us to head into town, which was about the same cost (48 kuna). As we had a car (drove in from Split), we thought this would be better given that we warned finding parking would be difficult and expensive (10-40 kuna per hour).
Pero is a great host and welcomed us with a homemade drink and chocolates, and took some time to explain where we were located and how to best get around Dubrovnik, pointing out the various beaches and places to visit. He was very accommodating in terms of check-out, allowing our daughter to store her bag as she was leaving for her flight late in the afternoon. We highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to stay at a place that is lovely and peaceful, away from the more hectic part of the city.
