A nature/urban hybrid, aha! Quirky apt. retreat on the valley edge. Relax on the balcony, stroll in the ravine, cozy up with the electric fireplace, take a swim or candle-lit bubble bath, watch Netflix on the tube, and turn on the christmas lights!
So you miss the water eh? Not only shall you swim & sauna-soak, you shall walk along the river’s edge! Oh yes. This natural yet urban getaway gives you the sanctity of the urban sky with ravine & forest to adventure below - find the trails, the river, historical sites, beautiful peaks in the sunset, and perhaps a glimpse of the deer and rabbits.
OR… keep nature at arm's length! Enjoy it from the balcony above, and the big apartment windows. See the train passing on the hill across the way, and watch the hawks soaring in the distance.
You’ll have the whole place to yourself: bedroom, living room/dining room, kitchen, balcony and washroom.

You've got soft sheets, and cozy furniture, plus a comfy desk chair, beautiful hanging ivy, and fluffy furry blankets. Feel free to light up the candles, especially the candelabra, and turn on the fireplace for a romantic evening.
You’re right on the edge of downtown, so boredom is impossible.
Minutes from the heart of Greek town, and a few more minutes from little China town, you can't go hungry. There's also a cute bar across the street, and a chic coffee shop just down the block. Eat out, or pick up some treats from Sobeys or Dairy queen right across the street.
See "The Neighbourhood" below for more details.

I am a young, eclectic artist, educator, & entrepreneur. I love music (hence the ukulele!) as well as writing, dance, and film. I studied at the University of Toronto, and transferred to York U to do my Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance, where I recently graduated. I have a passion for social justice and finding purpose in aiding others. I wear many hats and juggle much! Continuing to find my way.
I'd love to share my creative space - the Treehouse is my sanctuary. I can't live without nature and water, and right now that means a pool and a nearby river. It keeps me sane. I aspire to live in the wild (surrounded by a house), and with the Toronto bills so ludicrously high, often debate camping out in the valley... But until I'm brave enough, I'll keep this spot to share with you.
