Nice room w great air conditioning. Considering the location and the basic nature of the place, a little overpriced, but not terribly.
Major problem was the bathroom. When you start the shower, the drain backs up, so you're standing in stagnant water. Multiple times, we had squirmy bugs around our feet while showering. I got one in a glass and showed it to the staff, but they didn't seem overly concerned.
You can get fresh towels and the room swept up, but you do have to ask for it.
They advertise free pick up and drop off service on the first and last day of your stay-- but when we were leaving, we were told that the location we wanted to be dropped off at (a couple kilometers past the usual spot) was too far, and would cost an extra 100 baht. This seemed pretty steep for an extra 5 minutes of driving, especially given that the staff had just asked me and another male guest for our help moving a very heavy well cover, which took some time and scraped up our hands.
Also, they do serve food, but the menu is all Chinese food. If that's your thing, great. But I personally didn't come to Thailand for Chinese food, and it would have been nice to eat in the evenings without going out again, given the distance from the main area of town.
I will say, my girlfriend is insanely susceptible to bug bites, usually, and she didn't get very many here. So kudos for a bug-free room.
Aside from that: clean room, good AC, and some nice flowers around. I'd probably give 4 stars if it weren't for the squirmy beasts in the stagnant shower water, and the kinda inconsiderate drop-off thing. (Oh, and the internet comes and goes, and is quite slow about half the time.)
