A lovely little loft style apartment in the heart of Orient Bay - my husband and I spent 1 week here and had a great time! Well equipped, well decorated, comfortable memory foam bed, working AC, nice little deck with a table and lounge chairs, TV with plenty of American channels, washing machine (no dryer) and nice bathroom. The sofa was not the most comfortable for 2 people to really relax, but it is fine for a quick sit. The space is cozy - definitely not meant for more than 2 people. The power went out a couple times, but only once at night (candles are provided) and returned within about 30-40 minutes so nothing huge. The apartment's location makes it a REAL bargain - less than 2 minutes walk to the beach and the quaint Orient Village. It was fantastic having the beach (trickled with several beach bars and restaurants) as well as shops, a super market, and gourmet dinner restaurants all within 2 minutes walking distance! La Place, Le Village D'Orient is just around the corner and we returned here almost every night for dinner, live music, and local vendors selling gift-worthy goods. Le Table d'Antoine was or favorite of the restaurants here. The ambiance is magnificent, especially at Christmas time - it was like our own little piece of France in the Caribbean. Breakfast over at the Yellow Sub was delicious (croissants and French toast are to die for!). We also enjoyed parasailing and jet skiing right on Orient beach. Not too much nightlife in this area of the island, but we had our fill of that down in Simpson Bay the week prior, so the quiet was well-appreciated. Everyone here was so friendly and we felt very at-ease for the entirety of our stay. The money we saved staying here allowed us to indulge in plenty of gourmet cuisine and worthwhile activities/excursions - you can't go wrong here! A huge thanks to Patrick and Marc!
