Francis Fassett, one of Portland's finest architects, designed this grand Victorian Townhouse in High Gothic style for his own family. 140 years later, you have the chance to stay in the 4,300 sq/ft historical landmark, updated with modern amenities.
Francis Fassett House is a breathtaking, historic townhouse. We own the left side (119 Pine), while the right side (117 Pine) consists of 5 condos. Unwind and step into this 3-story sun-filled home. Entertain family and friends in the spacious parlor; host a pizza party for the kids; cozy up in the entertainment room with a good movie; whip up a home cooked meal and dine in style.
A perfect destination for families and close friends. Step outside, and in minutes, explore all that Portland offers: coastal beauty, premier restaurants, art galleries and museums, cocktail bars and microbreweries, live music, and more! After a long day or night of Maine adventure, Francis Fassett House offers luxurious, modern comfort and countless amenities.

Also, like most Mainer's we do not have A/C, but do provide fans.
Please treat our abode with the utmost care. We ask guests to leave their shoes in either the front or back foyer.
Please respect our neighbors' peace and quiet. The other half of the building includes 5 condominiums. This is not a place suitable for loud music or loud parties. Quiet hours are between the hours of 10pm-8am.
Please no smoking within the home or the sunroom. Outside, on the porch or in the rear garden, is permitted.
Please be careful to keep the front and rear doors locked at all times.
The fireplaces are currently not in working order and fires are not allowed.
Also, we love pets, but do not allow them. Sorry!
Elisabeth and I were both born and raised in Maine and are glad to have returned to Maine's most robust and thriving big small-town! We are excited to share the wonders of this historic abode with you and your friends/family.
We are deep lovers of art, music, food, and drink. Elisabeth is a high school teacher at a local alternative school, and I work at a law office in the heart of Portland. We encourage guests to plan their own adventures in our beautiful city, and are more than delighted to recommend our favorite Portland culinary, cultural, and civic highlights during your stay.
We look forward to providing you a home away from home.
