The Stone Hut is located on the Out of the Wild property and
includes the use of the deck, fire pit, and lawns. The Stone Hut
is two floors, with kitchenette, two baths, and three rooms. Beautiful
Alaska Range views including Denali. Quiet.
The beautiful views of the Alaska Range from Out of the Wild are one of the reasons that make this guesthouse unique. The spruce and birch covered grounds are large enough to accommodate family gatherings, weddings, and other special events. The boulder strewn lawns lead to a fire pit and open meadow. The three separate buildings are custom crafted by the owner and each have a kitchen or kitchenette and can be rented separately or together. The hosts can answer questions and provide suggestions for your vacation plans, including hiking, fishing, rafting, zipping or flying - as well as local restaurants, events, music and art. The many climbers who arrive each summer to attempt the climb to the top of 20,320 foot Mt. McKinley (Denali) add their own flavor to the flow of multi-national tourist visiting Talkeetna - where three rivers come together, the Chulitna, the Susitna, and the Talkeetna. For a uniquely Alaskan guesthouse, come visit Out of the Wild.
