The stunning natural beauty of the area combined with its relaxed atmosphere, spiritual center, and vortex energy has drawn many artists and naturalists to the area. Art galleries are numerous, YOGA RULES and you will experience renewal.
Stunning views of Cathedral Rock from this 1/3 acre property from inside as well as outside of cabin. Sit on covered porch or on patio set under the trees, savoring the fresh air, captivating view, and multitude of birds. You will be in the direct path of a powerful vortex, and can enjoy the privacy and solitude of the entire cabin and the naturalistic environment. I posted a sign on the property which designates 50 Zane Grey Lane as a Wildlife Safe Area.
This cabin can sleep six: one bedroom with firm European plush top queen bed, a carpeted loft with queen bed and stair access, and a futon (double bed, thick mattress) in great room. It comes with complete kitchen and bath, all linens and towels included, clothes washer and dryer, fireplace, firewood, as well as barbecue grill and patio set in backyard. NO Toxins or pesticides are used here -- we are designated as a Wildlife Protection Property!
There are games, c.d. player, books, and great hikes. We also have TV and DVD; hi-speed wireless internet, and free phone service all 50 states.
The back of property drops down to a dry creek wash where javelinas, quail and coyote often visit. With rains it becomes a creek which you will thrill to sit on our bank beside. It is a very short walk or drive to Crescent Moon Ranch Park with access to Oak Creek, an area open to hiking and creek access. It is incredibly scenic (full view of Cathedral Rock) and wooded as well Since the cabin is in a small neighborhood surrounded by National Forest, you can hike or mountain bike from our door.
Restaurants I especially like are: Thai Palace -- eat on their lovely patio; The Barking Frog, owned by same famous restaurateur as Cowboy Club - eat on patio; Dahl & DiLuca -- very special for birthday-- excellent and worth the extra cost.
Marcia, we came home to find your nice note letting me know that we were back online with e-mail and telephone. Thank you so much for taking care of this problem for us. As you know, it was critical that I be able to communicate to my daughter.
We have enjoyed your cabin so very much along with the beautiful area of Sedona. You also have lovely neighbors. David and I look forward to seeing you on Whidbey Island or here in Sedona. Corinne 4/2009

We're from California (Marina County) so all my 'new age' friends will love that Cathedral Rock was majestically sitting at our front door! ...all that 'vortex' myth and magic.
Most magic for us were our 2 times daily hikes into the Oak Creek area. I have always wanted to walk forever in a creek bed and to then plunge into swimming holes! How glorious to find this dream right here! so much stream…so many swimming holes magically showing up along the (URL HIDDEN) little time! Though we did have a wonderful week, and so many quiet areas of delicious sanctuary where we just sat for hours falling into each moment. Thanks for this great spot!
Our last day -- Gentle wind chimes birdsong scent of Juniper, warm breeze fluttering, yellow and white butterflies
Entire cabin on wooded property with wash at end of backyard. Keyless electronic locks -- provide your cellphone number so I can set your entry code using the last 4 digits of number provided.

I live in Sedona from mid-November - April and my housekeeper is a Sedona expert!

I have an attachment I send with suggested places to visit (and some to avoid) and restaurants I recommend.
You will find there "Using Zane Grey Lane" with a description of how to operate the cabin, and there are hiking maps, books and even a Red Rock pass for my guests' use. This is a no pesticide, no toxin home. There is no smoking, but you have 1/3 acre of property to enjoy the wonderful Sedona environment and spectacular views, so if you choose to smoke, walk out to the edge of the arroyo! Please note that there is an additional $25 to $50 charge for pets -- please ask!
I have been in hospitality careers for over 18 years and love meeting travelers; I am passionate about providing the most welcoming away from home experiences. I currently reside winters in Sedona, and the rest of the year on Whidbey Island, WA with my dear partner, Conner. We both come from botanical and design backgrounds. I also tutor/coach students preparing for SAT and different learners.
