It was a pleasure to stay in Ida's lovely apartment. When arranging the booking Ida was very friendly, helpful and responded quickly to our questions. In Denmark, after an initial hitch when we found our phones wouldn't work, we ended up meeting a very friendly neighbour who helped us contact Ida's friend who was giving us the keys. He was very pleasant and helpful but also was happy to let us settle in uninterrupted.
When we arrived, Ida had very thoughtfully left some bread, wine and chocolate for us to enjoy! There was everything we could need there (including cooking equipment) and Ida had also very thoughtfully provided us with a map of some noteworthy places nearby which was very welcome.
It seems like a very friendly building and the flat is just as described. It is decorated beautifully and very artistically with many plants which makes you feel at home straight away. The place was clean and tidy and the bed is very comfy which was a relief after a long day. The Copenhagen bathroom is small as described but it was very clean, worked fine and is actually quite pleasant. The apartment is on the fifth floor which, although makes for a tiring climb up, means you get a good view and also a bit more privacy.
It is a pleasant half an hour walk into the centre of Copenhagen through the main street of Norrebro by the lakes which we did many times. There is also a direct bus just around the corner and an easy cycle route if you prefer. Its also very easy to get to from the airport. The area around the flat seems like a pleasant enough place - it seemed safe and very conveniently located near to shops.
Throughout our stay Ida was on hand should there have been any issues but also let us enjoy our stay uninterrupted which was appreciated.
Overall, I thought the apartment was very reasonably priced for the lovely stay we had. I would thoroughly recommend Ida's apartment and would look to visit again in future! :)
