Are you looking for a "Home-Away-From-Home" in Charlottesville? Look no further than my house. Not only is it well located near Rt. 29, UVA and the Downtown Mall, but as my reviews have said, it is clean, cozy, and a great place for friends and families to gather. Need suggestions on where to eat, drink, or be merry? I can help you out.
I have a binder at your disposal filled with information about the area and it's eateries and attractions. Come and stay; you won't be disappointed!
The main floor includes an open, well-stocked kitchen with all you need for a filling continental breakfast; an adjoining family room; a half bath; a dining room and living room. Many board games and books are available for you to enjoy!
All of the bedrooms and two full baths are on the second floor. Fresh towels are in baskets in each bedroom where you will find comfortable beds with fresh linens and lots of pillows.
The main bathroom has a tub and the master bathroom has two sinks and a walk-in shower.
There is a lovely deck off of the main level where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day touring Central Virginia.
Important to note: My home is one of the few licensed Airbnb properties in the area and is in full compliance with our county's requirements.
All of the main living areas on the first and second floor are available, as is the deck.

I will do my best to be available at check-in, can answer questions about what to do in and around the area, but then will be away from the house so you can enjoy your privacy. If I'm not available to greet you, know that a key and house information will be there when you arrive! Help, however, is only a text away.
Our county now requires a 5% transient occupancy tax. A check for that amount should be left on the kitchen counter when you leave. Thanks!
Altre cose da evidenziare
My neighbor also does Airbnb. If you are looking for two homes ( for weddings, reunions, etc.), please let me know and we'll see if we both have vacancies. We can accommodate up to 14-15 people between us.
I have no pets anymore, so I have made this a pet-free home.
Juice, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea and bakery-made bread will be available.
No more than 7 people may stay at the house without owner approval
Anything broken would be expected to be replaced
My goal is for you to feel at home and to enjoy your stay!
I love Charlottesville! I can't think of a better place to enjoy life! The many restaurants, vineyards, and cultural events make this a great place to visit!
I retired after teaching for 35 years, and I'm now enjoying all that retirement has to offer. I spent three weeks traveling in Europe staying at Airbnb locations and loved every minute of it. I decided to open my house to Airbnb April 1, 2016 in hopes of sharing my home and Charlottesville with others. And, it's a great way to meet new people. I look forward to having you stay with me!
