  • I highly recommend Thierry's apartment! I stayed here with two other family members and it was great! I was greeted on the street level and given a tour upon my arrival. It is close to the metro stop and in a quiet building. There were plenty of towels and a fridge stocked with water and milk! There is a phone in the apartment which came in handy during our stay! Thanks for a great weekend!

  • This is a great little apartment! The location on Rue Parmentier is perfect! A very short few block to Parmentier station on Metro Line 3, plus easily walkable to two other metro lines. A ton of great cafes, and restuaruants very close by! It's the top floor of a cute old Parisian building with lots of windows! The pictures are a very good representation of what you are getting - cozy, but with everything you could need for a short stay. The bathroom is small but totally resonable with a rain shower that is very nice, good hot water, and i like that the bathroom had a window. The bed was very comfortable as well. You could hear a bit of noise from the hall when others came and went, but it was really infrequent. Thierry and his associates were attentive and very helpful. Would love to stay again if we get the chance!

  • We both enjoyed our stay at the apartment, thank you Thierry. Your welcome when we arrived was much appreciated, especially with the luggage. You explained in detail, and patience how everything worked and where everything was located. Nothing was too much in making sure we were comfortable. A lovely Paris Cosy pad to stay. Close to transport, great 'bio' supermarket, across the road, good artisan bakery not too far. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and bedding for two. Dishwasher and washing machine a great bonus. We both appreciated the extra two day stay that was added not long before our actual booking. Thank you so much, Thierry, we recommend a stay in your Paris Pad.

  • Super séjour. On a été très bien reçu. L'appartement est plus que correct car tout ce qu'il y a de nécessaire est présent. Il est bien aménagé et joli. On a bien dormi.
Le quartier est très sympas. Beaucoup d'endroits pour sortir (bar, resto...). Je conseille vivement.

  • I stayed here for over two weeks and found it just perfect. Is a single room, but v light and clean with enough space, enough storage. All cooking equipment you need, shower hot and powerful. Lovely nespresso machine for coffee. The curtains are a little thin if you want to sleep in in the morning.. But this is highly recommended. The area is near lots of great bars and not far from canal. Thierry was above and beyond helpful.

  • Thierry's apartment was perfect for us, it was great being welcomed and shown around by Wally and we had everything we needed for our stay in Paris. The location is amazing and the apartment is cosy and quiet. Thierry was a great host and even though the apartment is small i would highly recommend it for 2 people or a small family like ours (2 + 1 little one). Thanks Swishy Cosy Paris Pad!

  • I stayed at Thierry's "Swishy Pad" with my wife and son during the holidays (27 December - 4 January), and had a wonderful time in Paris. Thierry, and his associates Sarah and Wally, made everything very easy for us. Thierry kindly modified our arrival and departure times to conform with our schedule. This was especially helpful at the end of our trip because we had a later flight out of CDG.

Before our trip, they helped with some of our arrangements, securing a reservation for us at one of our favorite Parisian restaurants. And they even purchased a few simple grocery items that were waiting for us upon our arrival. What a welcome!

The apartment is perfect for one or two people, but was also fine with our son along. Definitely cozy! It is a three story walk-up (top floor) that looks into the building's central courtyard. It was very quiet and private. Additionally, Thierry has the apartment stocked with most everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

We've noticed some reviewers were unhappy about the apartment's shower, but we totally disagree! The deluge is wonderful! We've stayed at many places in Paris and around Europe that have pitifully low water pressure, with little hot water. By comparison, Thierry's shower is a real treat!

We've been to Paris several times, but this was our first time exploring this particular neighborhood (the 11th), which is close enough to everything by metro. There are many good shops near the Swishy Pad, on Rue Oberkampf (2 blocks away). Excellent bread, cheese, wine, chocolate and pastries are easy to find. Additionally, the open-air Marché Popincourt is only a few blocks away on Boulevard Richard Lenoir (Tuesday and Friday from 7.00 AM to 2.30 PM).

On our first night there, we also tried the Sengalese restaurant up the block, which was quite good. The neighborhood has a lot of interesting ethnic food options to explore, along with the usual traditional French fare.

In total, our stay at Thierry's apartment was fantastic. As a host, we give Thierry our highest recommendation for providing a great place to stay, with excellent communication and service. Thank you, Thierry!

Chi Siamo
Hi! I'm 33 and I've been living in Paris for more than a decade now. I was born and raised in the south of France, in and around Nice. Travelwise, I am a big fan of Taiwan, where I have made great friends in recent years. My main job is acting, and I also work in dubbing for cinema. Voilà, c'est moi! I bought this little studio from a friend this year. He completely renovated not long before I bought it, with a view to offering a great, bright and cosy spot for visiting friends and other guests. It's been very popular since the first few days we started advertising it! If this is the first time you're considering booking an apartment, you should be glad: you're about to discover how much better than a hotel it is! Staying in a self-catered apartment you get a better feel of the city, really. Shopping for food at the nearby market to prepare good meals with fresh local produce instead dining out all the time makes it feel much more like home. Having a pad where you can invite people over is also a great plus. I hope you'll have a great time here. And if Parisians look grumpy, don't worry, it's just they're being like everyone else. When you smile at them and apologize for not speaking French (which IS a crime), they usually melt and are the friendliest people you'll meet (almost). Thierry
