Super neat apartment in the heart of East St Kilda - WELCOME!
Our home compromises 2 double bedrooms, large lounge, private courtyard, fully equipped modern kitchen, recently renovated bathroom and only 500 meters from Carlisle Street. WiFi inc!

Our neat, two bedroom apartment is in the heart of Balaclava and features two bedrooms, fully equipped retro-vibe kitchen, recently renovated bathroom, large lounge room and private courtyard.

- Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, built-in-robes and are fitted with fresh cotton linens and towels for your stay.

- The comfy fold out couch can accommodate one person, so our entire apartment comfortably sleeps 5. (We will only include bedding for the 5th guest if they are listed in the booking.)

- The modern kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for your use and convenience including: a toaster, kettle, refrigerator, pots, pans and cutlery.
The pantry holds tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper and a couple more welcome treats!

- The lounge room is lovely and sunny in the afternoons and has a TV, DVD and CD player with auxiliary line for iPod/phone and CDs (yes they still exist!).
We also have a small desk for those needing to work during their stay. The FREE WiFi password will be included in your welcome pack and there is a "take one, leave one" library for all the traveling bookworms.

- Our large, private courtyard is perfect for a drink in the afternoons and a great place to play if you are traveling with little ones.

There is split system heating and cooling in the lounge room, bedroom 1 also has a ceiling fan and we can provide radiator heaters during winter stays for the bedrooms.

We can arrange a portacot free of charge if you have a baby and our daughter will happily share a box of her toys with any children coming to stay.

You will have access to our entire apartment and private courtyard for the duration of your stay.

We will be living just down the road for the duration of your stay and encourage all our guests to contact us if they need ANYTHING.

Our neighborhood is a very sought after location for residents of Melbourne. Bustling Carlisle Street plays host to some fantastic cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as easy access to supermarkets and shopping. We will leave you a list of our faves in your welcome pack!
Our apartment is a 50 metre walk from the shopping strip and the nearby public transport - train and tram, which can have you in the CBD in under 15 minutes.
It is as easy journey (walk or tram) to nearby, world famous St Kilda Beach, Luna Park, Acland Street, Fitzroy Street, Botanic Gardens and also Chapel Street.
You could happily spend your entire trip Melbourne in this one suburb!
For those traveling with kids, there is a fantastic playground 10 metres from our apartment and we can also give you info on local FREE activities and child friendly places in the area, such as story time at the local library.

We will leave Myki cards in your welcome pack so that you can use the nearby public transport.

We can arrange an off street car space if you need one, otherwise there is ample parking out the front of the building.

Our apartment is part of a quiet block of 7 and we ask that you respect our neighbours and not disturb them with any noise late at night.
If you have any issues with other tenants please let us know immediately.

Clean, well equipped unit, close to public transport and great shops and restaurants. Communication with our host Anthea was quick and easy. The private courtyard was a lovely place to sit and relax. Thanks, Anthea, it was a pleasure.

Anthea and Robs place is ideally located,close to shops and the train,not too close though. They communicated well and gave me tips on the local area. The unit is clean neat and tidy. Thanks Guys Cheers Des.

Great location, super close to Balaclava station and grocery stores, cafes, restaurants etc. Also great for getting train to city or Brighton beach. Apartment is a bit dark but overall very spacious, kitchen is well equipped but could do with an update on pots and pans that were very rusty. Also had some issues with the washing machine but overall bathroom was clean and spacious. Anthea was great at communicating and sorting out a new pan for us because we couldn't use the rusty one. Bed was comfy, would overall recommend staying here if you want to experience this part of Melbourne!

Based on this feedback all pots and pans have been replaced with brand new, higher quality ones. The lint trap in the washing machine has been cleaned and no further problems should occur. Previous guests had not flagged these issues, so thanks for pointing them out Emily. Prospective guests please be assured we take any complaints seriously and attend to them immediately:)

We enjoyed our stay at Anthea place. Lovely two bedroom apartment with a cute backyard. The apartment is exactly as described in the profile. Good location, easy to get around. Quiet neighborhood. We would like to come back to visit again
