We spent a week in this apartment. Generally we are very happy with the experience and would recommend this place for everybody. The only issues we had were minor.
The pros of this place are: it's a new building, with parking and elevator, you're in the 3rd floor. The place is a two-level apartment, newly renovated, everything is fresh. Inside beautiful traditional-style furniture and textile. First level is a living area with a kitchen corner, a bathroom with shower and a garden with outside shower and comfortable garden furniture (only the garden is much smaller than it appears on pictures). The upper level leads to a second bathroom (that leads to the laundry area), a master bedroom and a second bedroom, both with access to a large terrace with amazing views over town. This terrace had no furniture unfortunately, so we could only use it for drying our clothes.
We got a large tray of local fruits and bread that was an incredible welcome bonus.
We didn't have a car but walked to the Simius beach every day, it's a 15 mins walk.
The main negative that we experienced: I would never think that I will write this but for the first time in my life I literally couldn't sleep because of the mattress - and my wife too. I always thought people complaining about mattresses are a bit funny but this was unbearable. It's strange nobody else complained about it, for us it was the biggest issue, the mattress was so firm and sturdy that we both got back pain on day 3 and couldn't sleep :(
Other negatives are minor: the flat is made to be rented. They obviously tried to fill it with everything people may need but of course it's hard to foresee every little detail. In particular kitchen is a bit disorganized with some things being way too many while some more important things missing. I wish they put a bit more thought considering what people actually need rather than just stuffing kitchen cabinets for the sake of it. For example there were dozens of table knives - but not one proper kitchen knife to slice bread or anything other than tomato with . There was a wine opener (thanks for that) - but no wine glasses. By the way, we bought 2 wine glasses, so all future guests - enjoy it, you are welcome.
Also I was missing some essentials that I consider to be a standard thing for airbnb rentals. For example things like cooking oil, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, so that guests don't need to buy a whole package what they will only use very little of. I'm hoping the hosts will read reviews carefully and take this into consideration - and this apartment has all the chances to become absolute best vacation rental, because once again, most of the issues are minor and easy to fix.
