In "The Confession of Fitzwilliam Darcy" Mary Street offered a different perspective on Jane Austen's tale of Pride and Prejudice. This comfortable bedroom is where Mary Street stayed and wrote at Anderson Cottage.
Furnished with a comfortable chair for reading, a table and chair for writing, and the original desk used by Mary Street. Second floor room on the southeast corner of the house, looking out to Warm Springs Run.
Hall bath, shared with other guests, features an old-style clawfoot tub.
Dining room downstairs has a buffet breakfast 8-10am, and a daily breakfast entree served at 9am (french toast, cheese strata, pancakes, biscuits & scrambled eggs, etc.). Play in the spacious yard, with sports gear available for frisbee, badminton, croquet, and more.

Anderson Cottage has been welcoming guests since the 1790s, as a tavern, girls school, summer inn, and, for over thirty years, as a bed and breakfast.
This is an old house with uneven floors, non-standard doors, level changes between rooms, and other features that may limit accessibility.

• Friendly conversation at the breakfast table is encouraged, but not mandatory.
• No smoking inside.
