In a nutshell, the apartment is in an ideal location, has all of the amenities you can desire, and is spacious by San Francisco standards, but needed some improvements upon arrival. We stayed for about 3 months, so we became very familiar with the apartment, neighborhood and management. ---Pros--- The apartment itself is as pictured - an upgraded, open kitchen, well proportioned bedroom, and a decent size living room. It was unclear from the pictures, but the bathroom is separate from the bedroom. The other people in the building are fairly quiet and friendly, and the lobby is updated. The neighborhood is one of the greatest gems about this apartment. You have the financial district, china town, union sqaure, and nob hill all at your fingertips. Extremely walkable, with dozens of restaurants, bars, and the like nearby. We especially enjoyed Tunnel Top and the accessibility of having a market down the street, as well as Tacorea, Uncle Vito's, Beanstalk cafe, and Del Popolo. For bars, check out Hopwater, Pacific Cocktail Haven, and Pagan Idol. ---Cons--- Initially, the internet speed was only capable of sending/receiving email, but has since been upgraded and is now completely satisfactory; it took some time to fix but we got there. The apartment was clean at "the surface level" when we arrived; counters and the like were clean but the floors, walls, utensils, etc. were dirty. The bathroom is one area that could use improvement. The moisture from the shower is causing some mold to grow along the left hand side of the medicine cabinet. If you appreciate city living, you won't be bothered by the street noise at night.

The apartment is nicely reflected on the pictures and is a at perfect location to explore SF for some days. It is only 3 minutes from Union Square and 8min from Market street. All shops, cafes and restaurants right there with only minutes to retreat back to your home. The location is very central so it is naturally noisy until about midnight, but nothing that can't be fixed with some earplugs for a restful sleep. Communication was very simple and efficient, the check-in smooth and with a very nice check if I have safely arrived. The apartment was clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. Some pans were a little rusty but there are many to choose from. There is a little grocery market right around the corner - which might look dodgy from the outside but has high quality food, even fresh vegetables and all you need right there. The only thing that is not perfect is the quality of wi-fi - Streaming or Video conferencing is not possible due to low bandwith. The TV has all the channels you would want to entertain you and also don't foget to look into the very informative binder that is ready for you and holds a lot of information to find your way around. A great stay for business.
