Beautifully located close to Gotland's southernmost tip and a ten minute walk from a sandy beach. The studio has high ceiling, lime plastered walls, an iron cast stove and lots of natural light. All rooms have direct access to the meadow outside.
This cottage is a part of a historical farm in the middle of the open and dramatic landscape of the Baltic island of Gotland. The building is attached to an old barn and was formerly a stable. The barn is now functioning as a contemporary summer retreat and the cottage is one of two apartments in the building. We use the cottage as a guesthouse and live in the other part ourselves.
The cottage contains of:
1 living room/studio space with a compact kitchen.
1 Bath room with shower
1 Bedroom w. 1 queen size bed
1 Bedroom w. 4 custom-made bunk beds.
All rooms have hardwood or limestone flooring.
We prefer weeklong bookings from Sunday to Sunday. Other options can be discussed. Please let us know you itinerary!
You will have total access to the cottage. The meadow surrounding the barn is shared with a couple of families as a common but the house has a private outdoor seating area. You will have access to a barbecue.

Altre cose da evidenziare
Sorry no bathtub only shower (one indoors and one outdoors). The kitchen is very compact with two stove plates, a mini oven, and a fridge. During summer we prefer to do the dishing outside as well as showering in our outdoor shower. Please note that this is a remodeled barn and that sounds travel easily between the two homes – if you are sensitive to disturbances this might not be the choice for you.
The cottage is wall to wall with our apartment and there might be noise disturbances when we are home.
Bedroom no 2 have no direct access from the living room/kitchen (it is reached through bedroom no 1).
The mobile phone coverage is unfortunately poor in the whole area. Signal is generally better outside.
The opening hours of services, restaurants and other sights are limited when peak season is over (peak season from mid June to mid August).
