Perfectly located right in the heart of the historic Fremantle precinct on top of retail space and Hush Coffee Shop, this heritage listed c1904 apartment is a perfect place to escape the bustle of the city and revel in the space that this old building offers.


We hope you enjoy your haven in this wonderful part of the world.

Entry into the property is via an ivy covered rear access into the property’s historical rear lane and stairs.
When you step thru the door into the light filled refurbished apartment complete with original polished Jarrah floors and 15ft high ceilings, you will feel at home.
1904 is equipped with 54.5 inch LCD television and blue ray, a fully functional kitchen and laundry and most items needed to ensure your stay will be comfortable and a success.
The entry at the top of the stairs opens onto the dining room which comfortably seats four, with access to the kitchen on the left. Proceed right down the passage to the large bedroom with queen size bed, premium linen, and a place to unpack and hang up your clothes.
The bathroom is complete with bath tub, and full length mirror which serves as a door to the small but well equipped laundry with front loader washer, dryer, large sink, ironing board, iron and drying rack.
The end of the passage opens up to the sitting room. This room faces High Street below, (no access) is light and sun filled from its soaring windows and is a place to relax and enjoy. The entertainment area includes the 54.5 inch LCD television hooked up to BluRay. There is also a micro stereo player ipod/phone compatible with Thunderbolt connection.
A small desk is provided with a printer and wifi connection, to catch up with friends or address the mounting emails.

Whilst 1904 is a single bedroom unit, it is extremely spacious and inviting, boasting a floor area greater than many modern 2 or 3 bedroom constructions. It would suit those with a passion for the lifestyle that Fremantle can offer and the idiosyncratic nature of the buildings and access surrounded by the vitality of life. It is far removed from a 16 square metre hotel room and will surely delight you.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the confirmation notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your occupancy and/or additional payments.

Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. This includes removing all personal rubbish and doing your dishes. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and extra payment.

Pets are not allowed.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

Great location for central Freo. Gorgeous flat. Secure for solo female traveller. Great living, bathroom snd kitchen with soaring ceilings. No aircon but not needed during my stay at the end of January. Access is challenging (steep flight of stairs and access is through the back of a cafe - including negotiating the industrial rubbish bins). Didn't enjoy that.

Great location above a cafe which had great food and coffee. A short walk to the foreshore and transport. The place itself was very comfortable with decent internet, large lounge area a well equipped kitchen. Sharp knives are a rare feature of airbnbs generally but I appreciated the large amount and quality of utensils. Would gladly stay again. The only thing to be aware of would be that one of the access doors was very narrow which makes it difficult if you're broad shouldered.

The location was central, but be prepared to get a loud wake up alarm at 6 am from the cafe below everyday, which seems to bang sauce plans and play loud music. Great location, but noise levels are higher than you would expect.

A wonderful apartment with beautiful high ceilings. Very clean and comfortable, and within walking distance of all the good stuff that Freo has to offer. The apartment is well-fitted out and has a very functional kitchen. It's also been decorated very nicely and has a nice large television. Would definitely stay again.

Alison was so lovely, kind and gracious - responsive and helpful at all times. I stayed 4 days and was thankful for the convenience of staying right in Fremantle, a block from the beach, in a cool and clean house. Thank you Alison for being such a gracious hostess. Highly recommend x
