I stayed at Taraka's for 3 months. My stay was very pleasant and I didn't run into any problems. Taraka is super sweet and was quick to help me out with any questions. Her sister and cousin live in the apt. also, who were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Taraka's room is huge for an NYC apt and the bed was really comfy. Just a heads up, though, there isn't much storage space. There was only a 2 shelf bookcase to store my belongings, which can definitely work if you're traveling light! I worked in Manhattan and it was always a quick subway ride to and from, 15-20 min tops. I recommend Taraka's place to anyone looking for a nice, reasonably priced stay in Brooklyn

I definitely enjoyed my time at Taraka's listing. It's in a great location, close to the subway and some of the best parts of Brooklyn. The apartment itself was also great. It has plenty of room and Taraka made sure I had access to everything I needed. Taraka was a great host and was always very accessible and helpful. I would definitely recommend Taraka's place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Brooklyn.

Taraka's house is really nice and artistic. I didn't see Taraka at all but she always text me and answer my questions! The place it located takes about 10min to walk but it is safe enough and I don't really worry about walking in midnight. The room is kind of clean but still there is little dust and hair are around on the floor. There are mites on the bed so i was stabbed... I thinks Taraka is better cleaning up the room. And sometimes people who live in upstairs wake up so early ( like 5 o'clock in the morning) heard work noise and it bordered my sleep a bit. Anyway, the kitchen is pretty clean and it easy to use!

It was indeed a stay at the artist's place! I could see western playing instruments and surprisingly Sitar too. I was looking for accommodation which will have access to Manhattan and flushing. Taraka's place served me that purpose. At first I was skeptical about the neighborhood as I might be going back late at night and staying there without host being there( there was a roommate though I could see her only a few times) but after talking to Taraka I was comfortable. It was incredible to know that I was staying at the Krishna devotees place. "That's How KRISHNA makes the arrangement" - Taraka. I was then very comfortable. Even though Taraka wasn't there during my stay she was quick to respond with my questions. My stay there was enjoyable and would go back again! Thanks Taraka!

The room was great, clean and with a bright open window to the backyard. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Although I couldn't meet Taraka personally because she was in South America for the week I stayed, she made sure that everything was provided and even stayed in contact whilst in Patagonia. I can definitely recommend this place!
