Sister-property to Cabin Creek Lodge.

There are three buildings included in this rental-- the main cabin, the bunkhouse and the shower house.:
*The main cabin has one large room with living room, full kitchen and dining room. The living room has a queen sofa bed. There is also a master bedroom with a king-size bed and lots of closet space and washer/dryer. The small bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is one bathroom with shower connected by doors to both the master bedroom and kitchen area.
The main cabin has DISH TV (in both living room and master bedroom) and PS4 for your entertainment. The kitchen includes pots, utensils/glasses/plates/cups (for 8), gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle.
*The bunkhouse has one bunk-bed with twin size mattress on top and full size mattress below. The bunkhouse has a TV/DVD combo to use for watching DVD's (no regular TV signal or DISH here).
*The shower house has a bathroom with shower as well as additional refrigerator and laundry machines.

Although pets are not allowed inside the house, we have a large outdoor kennel and dog run. See the pics.

There is a deck surrounding the entire cabin and a "warming hut" with a wood fireplace behind the cabin. The pond beside the cabin can be used for swimming and has a dock with an inflatable raft. (All to be used at your own risk.)

There are a few fire-pits and picnic tables around the property.

(NOTE-- much of the outdoor areas are NOT accessible during the winter season due to snow.)

All spaces noted above.

I or my maintenance engineer will be on site at least on the day of arrival and departure to give a simple tour and handle any questions or requests.

We are just 2 miles down the road from the Cabin Creek Sno-Park and Nordic Ski Area.

We are located on a National Forest Service road in the Wenatchee National Forest (DON'T TRY TO USE GPS TO FIND US!) Very few neighbors out here besides the black-tailed deer, elk, wild turkeys, grouse, squirrels, barn swallows and hummingbirds -- all of whom make their presence known from time to time.

There are many ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in the area around us. Lots of places to play!

We are about 1 hour 15 mins from downtown Seattle. 30 minutes from either Roslyn or Cle Elum. 20 minutes from skiing at the Summit of Snoqualmie Pass.

The road leading into the cabin is a dirt & gravel road and can be bumpy at times, snow-packed in winter (have AWD or good traction tires) and very dusty during summer. Speeds should be kept to 25 mph or less.

While here:
-NO SMOKING inside the cabin, bunkhouse or shower house ever.
-WiFi is thru satellite internet, which is notoriously slow & data usage very limited. (Once limit is reached, nothing more will be added). Only useful for email and simple browsing-- no video streaming at all.
-The Yakima River runs right beside the property. Please use great caution as this river has very strong currents and many log jams in this area. It is NOT advisable to ever enter this river- not for swimming, tubing nor boating.
-Any flotation devices on site are for use ONLY on our ponds.
-We provide towels and face cloths, but PLEASE use them only on your body-- not shoes, luggage, floors, cars, etc. (I know it sounds ridiculous to have to say this, but I have to throw out towels every single week. Go figure.)
-No pets allowed indoors.
-Eating in the bedrooms is very discouraged because of the difficulty to move beds and clean behind or under.
-There are trash cans in each building, so please use appropriately. Please pour out liquids in the sink before throwing cups, cans or bottles into the trash.

Before leaving:
--We are in a National Forest so think in terms of "leave no trace"- both inside as well as outside. Leave the Cabin as clean as you found it.
-Please pack out with you whatever you pack in (especially in the kitchen, no leftovers please).
-Leave no trash lying around in any of the rooms.
-After cleanup, please leave all trash bags and empty boxes in the trash bins in the wood shed behind the house. **NEVER leave trash bags or bins outside as they will quickly be torn apart by animals.**
-Any furniture or items that were moved or used should be put back in their original place.
-Any bed that was used, please strip off the sheets & pillow-cases and leave them on the bedroom floor (blankets should stay on the beds). **Do not remove the zippered mattress cover.**
-All used towels should be left on the floor in front of the shower.

Beautiful cabin, very clean and comfortable. Lots of space for multiple families and my kids were over the moon about the little bunkhouse. Awesome accommodations when traveling with dogs too! Closer to the highway than I was expecting but at least it made it easy to find. Very relaxing, beautiful area.

We rented the cabin as a family for a Thanksgiving getaway - 7 of us stayed there and had another 6 family members over for Thanksgiving dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the relaxing family time. Patrick was flexible with our arrival time and gave us a tour of the property upon arrival. He was quick to respond to any of my questions pre-stay and while we were staying there. Just an overall great experience. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful, roomy, secluded. We loved every bit of this place. Situated on the Yakima river, with two beautiful ponds on the property, this place looks as great as it sounds. So peaceful and with every amenity you could possibly need. Our only drawback was that the water pressure is quite low, but considering how beautiful and secluded it was, it's well worth that small inconvenience. Would definitely recommend!

Risposta di Patrick:
Sadly, we have a small well as our water source, so not sure what we can do to increase the pressure-- but I will look into it. Glad you guys had a good time!

Twin Ponds was an oasis! We had a bachelorette party there and it was perfect. Plenty of room for games and a nice big table/kitchen for us to cook and have meals. We all felt at home and like we were staying at a rich family friend's lake place. The "firehouse" was particularly cool! Several of the girls took pictures of it to put on the "Honey-Do-List" for their own homes. Patrick was a wonderful host. Highly responsive to all questions and accommodating with our staggered arrival times. The place was warm and cozy when we arrived. Would highly recommend to another large group!
